I woke up in the morning and Derek was still sleeping. I decided to make a special breakfast for him. I got out of bed as quietly as possible. I tip-toed downstairs and started making some pancakes. Sadie was asleep on the couch and I'm guessing Mark was in his room. Once I was finished I put 2 pancakes on 4 plates with some berries. I set out the plates on the table when I heard someone coming down the steps. I quickly hid wanting to surprise Derek. He saw the plates on the table and got confused. Eventually, he sat down and started to eat. I snuck up behind his chair and wrapped my arms around him.
"Surprise!" I yelled causing Sadie to wake up.
"Aww, your the best." He kissed me and I soon sat down.
"Hey Sadie!" I said as she say down.
"Hey Beth, let's go wake Mark up." She said smirking.
"Oh god." Derek said shaking his head.
Me and Sadie tip-toed into Marks room and jumped on top of him on the bed.
"Rise and shine!" We said in unison.
He groaned and playfully smacked us both. We giggled and walked back to our breakfast. Man, I love my Dancing with the Stars family.
