As I said goodbye to Sadie and Witney, I remembered I had to go to Derek's house. I grabbed my shopping bags and hopped in my car.
When I finally reached Derek's house, I noticed a black SUV in the driveway. It looked like Mark's but I wasn't sure. I knocked on the door and no one answered. I heard some muffled screaming and dug through my purse to find the spare key Derek gave me.
I eventually got the door open and saw Derek and Mark in the kitchen.
"Mark! How could you do that to her?" I heard Derek say.
"Dude! It was an accident." I heard Mark yell back. It seemed like something was about to go down.
I dropped my bag on the couch and walked into the kitchen.
"What's going on in here?" I asked raising my eyebrows to both boys.
"Hey cheated on Witney." Derek said pointing a finger at Mark. He quickly covered his mouth.
"Dude!" Mark yelled.
Derek mouthed a sorry and then walked over to me.
"Mark, what did you do?" I asked.
"I hit on another girl. She saw." Mark explained with his head in his hands.
"Oh, Mark. What have you gotten yourself into?" I said.
