Jasper: Don't think you've won!
[Jasper summons her helmet and leaps into the air ready to strike Lapis; however, Lapis dodges her with ease and catches her with a water chain in midair.]
Jasper: NO WAY!
[Lapis wraps her water chains around Jasper's neck, torso and limbs, subsequently turning them into shackles; she now has Jasper and Mean Lapis completely immobilized.]
Jasper: *groans* Let me go!!
[Jasper boldly demands as she struggles to break free.]
Lapis: You better shut the fuck up!
[Lapis shouts as she begins to twirl the water chain around, smashing Jasper into some boulders in the process.]
Jasper: *in pain* AAHHH!!!
[Jasper, unable to break free of Lapis' water chains, merely screams in pain as Lapis chuckles, visibly enjoying it.]
[Peridot then flies up to Lapis; Connie, who is on a piece of metal levitated by Peridot's metal powers, also approaches Lapis.]
Peridot: Lapis, is everything all right?!
Lapis: Never been better!
[Lapis replies as she clenches her hand into a fist, which causes the chains to begin to tighten, squeezing Jasper tighter and tighter.]
Jasper: *in pain* AAAAAH!!!
[Jasper screams in pain until she loses consciousness.]
Peridot: Okay, Lapis, that's enough! There's no need to hurt her.
Lapis: What are you talking about, Peridot? I'm not hurting her at all, I'm just doing her a favor. You see, the poor thing really needed a nap, you could tell just by looking at her, couldn't you?
Peridot: Hmph.
Lapis: Now, changing the subject...
[Lapis looks Peridot up and down, oddly surprised to see her again with her old limb enhancers on.]
Lapis: Those things don't look good on you at all, you should get rid of them.
Peridot: Do you really think so?
Lapis: Yeah, you look... *blushes* You look nicer without them. *thinks to herself* Not to mention they bring up some really bad memories.
Peridot: Wow, thank--
[Connie abruptly interrupts Lapis and Peridot's conversation, as she has just noticed something particular in the distance.]
Connie: *shouthing* Lapis!! Peridot!!
[Lapis and Peridot turn to Connie.]
Lapis: No need to shout, girl, we're right here.
Peridot: Connie, what's the matter?!
Connie: Look over there, there's someone flying away!
[Connie points her finger at a Gem flying in the distance.]
Lapis: What?
[Lapis squints her eyes and spots a winged Gem flying in the distance.]
Lapis: Who is she?
Connie: From her size, I'd bet it's Bluebird!
Peridot: You bet right; it's her!
Connie: We can't let her go, we must capture her!
