32) Mishaan ki Pari didn't deserve her parents

Pari, aap, apne mom jaise ho. I know this entire world calls your mother very distasteful names, they slut shame her, they call her a disgusting woman. But that is baseless, pointless. And I want you to know that you are a pure reflection of your sweet mother.

That sweet smile, these beautiful eyes, always running creative mind, always calm, always wanting to run away than face problems because you're scared it'll hurt your loved ones, hiding own thoughts to keep others happy, putting on a fake smile to ease others and the immense love towards both Mishti and Mauli. This is the Nandini in you, Para.

And there's so much of Kunal in you too. Always ready to fight for your sister, the kiddish pouts and frowns whenever someone scolds you, the never-ending craze for street food and the jest in which you want your family to be happy. That sudden anger nerve when something goes way wrong, that beautiful laughter, this cute nose and the blood running in your veins. Baby, this is the Kunal in you.

And I want you to love and accept your parents, as is. Because I loved your sweet parents and I love you because you're so much like them. Never, never let anyone walk over your parents, never let anyone insult them because baby, in a way, they're insulting you. And I won't want my baby to be insulted, okay.

There's nothing wrong in being Pari Malhotra, that's you. But there's absolutely nothing wrong in being Kunal and Nandini's daughter. And your Mahek loves you for who you are and not who you're pretending.

To say Pari was miserable was an understatement.

She was literally in tears, with terrible headache and bitterly cursing herself since the previous night.

The post lunch goodbye to Mahek was the last thing where Pari was sane, after that by evening she realized that she did not have her chain on her neck and with that she realized that she had lost her locket.

Again.

She soon started getting anxiety attacks, and it took Mishti to calm her down and ask what went wrong. When she narrated that her precious locket was missing, she burst into tears and Mishti hugged her.

Yet Pari only wanted her locket.

That's it.

Her parents. Her sweet, late parents.

Everyone, from the tired Ruhaan, to the worried Radhika, everyone had started their search party. Arnav and Pari had even gone to the restaurant she and Mahek had lunch at but they couldn't track it. Mishti and Ansh covered the lawn, Ruhaan helped search with Radhika in the house.

It was after midnight when they finally accepted defeat and Pari could helplessly accept that this time she had lost the locket for real. She couldn't help but curse herself and couldn't remember the last time she had seen it.

Her head and her mind were completely exhausted since she hasn't slept well the previous night, but right now she only wanted to keep searching.  Everyone tried easing the girl but to no avail.

She had skipped dinner, and breakfast and had been completely zoned out in her room. Her tears dried up but her face showing no emotions at all.

Mishti had put her to sleep for a few hours but Pari woke up with a nightmare and after that, putting her to sleep was impossible. She couldn't help but feel immense pain seeing her sister this way.

'Pari?' Ruhaan asked, early in the morning as Mishti made some tea.

She shook her head, 'She slept by 2, but now she woke up by a nightmare. And she's given up now.'
