Daneen stared at the wall before her for what felt like eternities.
The voices greeting her ears were those of her father's angered shouting, her mother's efforts to calm him down, and surprisingly, Fareeda's words intermingled between the cluster of sounds. But Daneen didn't care how or why she was there.
Because the only destination Daneen saw before her was that of an empty, loveless void.
