Alec's POV
I didn't know the day would come that I'd see her get so angry. She is so strong. For a minute, I thought she wanted to fight me too. I held her and whispered in her ear "Babe calm down, just calm down" About 10 minutes had passed and I could still see the rage in her eyes.
I slightly let her go and turn her facing me, she wasn't looking at me instead she held her head down.
I lifted her head and tears fell down the side of her face she said "I wasn't trying to embarrass you that bitch needed a beating and she got it" I assured her I wasn't embarrassed and that I loved her. She quickly looked at me with a look of confusion but then she smiled and said "I love you too" we hadn't told each other and I knew she was happy that I was the one to tell her first.
I asked if she was finished shopping and she said: "I picked out the things I wanted I only haven't paid". I followed her to get that done and as we entered a clerk said " Yh muma mi like how uh deal wid dah gyal deh caah them gyal yah nuh know them place nowadays" she gave her a little smirk.
She finished and we were in the car driving back to her house, I saw her calling someone but wasn't sure who it was but as soon as I heard her say "bad bad y pre?" I knew it was her best friend.
She then went on to say " Mi seh fren, uh nuh waah know wah just gwan uh nuh know seh mi affi lef mi shoes print inah Alec ex gyal face. Mi seh she lucky yf as Alec pull mi offa her she run, to how she did a gwan inah text mi think she woulda kill mi wid lick, dem likkle gyal deh only full a keyboard badness" she chuckled a bit and I knew her friend must have said something funny, she then said, "Aite sis mi will link uh later".
I still wasn't clear on how they started fighting or why so I asked her and she told me, I didn't feel bad for my ex at all because she had it coming. I said "So did she even get a chance to hit you?" she said, " uh fucking mad lick who, wah kinda question that, hey carry mi a mi yard yaw man an stop ask mi fuckry".
I was trying to make a joke because I knew she couldn't have gotten any time to hit her. After all, she was shielding her face.
Aaliyah's POV
I didn't mean to get so angry at him but it just happened, he didn't say another word the rest of the drive. We reached my house and he'd usually kiss me goodbye but he wasn't even looking in my direction. Imagine him vex wid me afta a mi nuh too long affi fight him ex. I went home, an hour passed and he didn't call. I sat down and started thinking of what had happened and what I had said. I really shouldn't have gotten so angry at him.
I had to make this right.
I called him in the softest voice I possibly could and said " mi nuh feel good uh can carry mi guh get a soup" he said "mhm". Sometimes mi feel like him just a wait fimi call cause he pulls up real quick. I put on the sexiest shorts I could find and a pullover. I went in the car and shrugged a bit cause uh know girl want it to look as believable as possible he said" Babe wahm to uh" in the most sincere and concerned voice I've ever heard.
I mean I couldn't keep this up.
I said " well, mi head slightly a hurt mi but anuh nothing too tough I just wanted to see you" he smiled and said "mi nuh too inah nuhn wid uh inuh," I told him I knew and that I was sorry, I should have answered differently and In a better tone. We sat and spoke for about 30 minutes, he then said " uh waah come see mi block? Because uh never waah come yet".
