Pha's pov:

"Daddy!!" Len and Rin ran up to the moment they saw me at the gate.

I smiled widely and knelt.

They jumped onto me and hugged me tightly.

"Hey, babies. How was school?" I asked.

"We had lots of fun!! We made lots of friends also!!" They yelled excitedly.

I chuckled and pecked their cheeks.

"That's great. You behaved yourselves right??

"Yup! The teacher also praised us for being good!" Len smiled proudly.

Rin nodded vigorously in agreement.

I smiled warmly. "I'm proud of you."

I stood up with them in my arms.

"Let's go home shall we?"

They nodded.

I put their backpacks in the backseat and helped them into the passenger's seat.

They told me about all the fun things they did at school on the way back home.

The smiles didn't leave our faces even for a second.

"Oh, and we have gifts for daddy and papa!" Rin spoke up.

I raised my eyebrows.

"Gifts?"

They smiled widely and nodded.

"We made them ourselves! They're in our bags! We will give them at home!" Len said.

I smiled widely and nodded. "I can't wait."

They giggled excitedly.

We stopped in the garage 20 minutes later.

I helped them out and took their backpacks from the backseat.

They ran at the moment I opened the door.

I chuckled and followed behind.

"Papa we're home!" They ran into the living room.

He looked up from his laptop and smiled widely.

"Welcome home babies."

They climbed onto the couch on either side of him and hugged him tightly.

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around them as well.

"How was school?"

"It was very fun! We made lots of friends!" They yelled excitedly.

"Ok ok, you can tell him all the stories after getting freshened up. Come on." I quickly intervened.

They pouted but heeded nonetheless.

I went and sat next to him after they went into their room.

"Does it still hurt?" I asked putting my hand on his left thigh.

"Yeah. But it's better than before." He smiled.

I leaned in and kissed his temple.

I can still clearly remember that day as if it was yesterday.

We were on our back home from the airport after our honeymoon.

A drunk driver crashed into us on the highway.
