Ming's pov:

The next day we went back home after breakfast.

"Beam and Kit have been bugging me since i woke up saying they want to hang out." P'pha sighed after we got into the house.

"Then why don't you call them over for lunch? Tell them to bring their boyfriends as well." Mom smiled.

"You sure?" P'Pha asked.

"It's been a while since we've seen them. And we have yet to meet their boyfriends. This would be a great opportunity." Dad said.

P'pha nodded.

"Ok I'll text them."

Dad helped me put the stuffed toys we won at the amusement park in my room.

After we were done with that, we went out of the room.

Mom was on the couch typing on her laptop while P'pha was out on the veranda talking on his phone.

I went and sat next to mom.

Dad sat on my other side.

I took out my phone and scrolled through the pictures we took today.

"Here. Send the ones you like to your phone." Mom smiled and gave me her phone.

The gallery was already open.

I smiled widely and started scrolling through it selecting a lot of pictures and sending them to my phone.

I had scrolled through most of them when the doorbell rang.

Mom and dad turned to the door.

They frowned.

"Who could that be?" Dad got up and went to get it.

Two people came in a few seconds later.

"Aria, Ram." Mom kept the laptop aside and stood up.

I got up and went behind her. I clutched onto her skirt tightly.

Aunt Aria and Uncle Ram looked at me with sad expressions.

"I heard about what Bank did. I can't apologise enough. I never thought he would do something like that." Uncle Ram spoke up.

I slowly nodded.

Mom gently pat my head.

"Where is he?" Dad came and stood near us.

"He's at home. I made sure to teach him a hard lesson so he will never do something like that again." Uncle Ram answered.

P'pha came in just then.

"Uncle Ram, aunt Aria." He smiled when he saw them.

"It's been a while Pha. How is it going at work?" Uncle Ram hugged him.

"Actually i quit." P'pha said sheepishly.

"Why?" Uncle Ram asked.

"The management and doctors there are too corrupted. They will do anything as long as you pay them enough. And the director's daughter has been harrasing me non stop. I'm sorry i know you recommended that place but i couldn't stay there anymore." P'pha sighed.

"It's my fault. I should have checked them more thoroughly before recommending them. You don't need to apologise." Uncle Ram assured him.

"Anyway what brings you here today?" P'Pha asked.

"We're here to apologise and get to know the boy Emmie and Ben have been missing and talking so much about." Aunt Aria smiled at me.

I smiled back shyly.
