8 months later:

Pha's pov:

I shut the laptop and sat back in my chair.

"Finally a break..." I mumbled.

I've been working nonstop for the last 7 months.

Uncle Finn had asked me to come work at his hospital so I'm now working as the head of the cardiology department in the Vongviphan hospital.

My thoughts wondered to Ming.

I've been able to keep him from anything negative for the last months. Which is quite a miracle.

His heart condition has improved a little but the nightmares still continue to haunt him whenever i have to stay at the hospital overnight.

He started going to university 4 months ago.

He's made a lot of friends and has been the professors' favourite because of his intelligence.

Beam picks him up to go to university every morning. Even if he doesn't have any classes in the morning, or if his classes start late, he always makes sure to come pick him up and drop him off to his classes.

Forth always makes sure to drop him off after his classes finish.

If he can't make it he'll make sure to send one of his friends or juniors.

He even calls me everyday to make sure Ming got home safe.

When they're free, Forth and Beam would even join him for lunch at the medical faculty.

I smiled warmly.

"Two overprotective brothers. And he called me overprotective."

Ming sometimes calls them mom and dad even.

I chuckled remembering their reactions when he first called them that.

Beam had sulked about why he was the mom and not dad. And Forth had smile proudly telling him since he was his "Wifey" of course he would be the mom.

Beam had smacked him on the head and ignored both of them for the rest of the day.

I got up and gathered my things.

I finally have the weekend off after a long time.

I went out of my office and out of the hospital.

I got into my car and drove back home.

It's 9 o'clock in the evening.

Ming had classes until 3.

I stopped infront of my house 15 minutes later.

Forth's car was there.

When i went in, it was completely silent.

"Ming?" I called out.

No answer.

I checked the living room.

No one.

i went upstairs and into the bedroom.

Ming was lying in bed surrounded by papers and books. He hwas holding a pen in his hand.

I sighed and shook my head.

I told him not to work too hard since he's able to answer almost all of the questions really easily, he still studies sway too much.

The fear of not being loved because he's not good enough is deeply rooted into him because of those two bastards.

I went to the bed and slowly collected all papers and books making sure to not wake him up.
