Lief vs Elsa Marie. (Part 1)

    Viva ate the popsicle watching the battle below. As she did, she felt a familuar person behind her. 
    "You're the last person I'd expect to sit and watch." Shadow's voice rang. 
    "This is the real deal, he's fighting a witch, not a familuar." Viva said. "If he beats it, he'll get a grief seed, so at least he's fighting for something." 
    Shadow stared. "I'm surprise you'd give up your prey so easily. Just to help him out." He said. 
    Viva looked at Shadow and opened her mouth to speak, but instead she heard the barrier grow restless and sizzled. Viva stared at the witch barrier and she gritted her teeth. "Ugh, what is that blonde kid doing! He's going to get himself killed!!!" 
      While this happened, Lief panted from fighting the witch Elsa Marie. He's been trying to defeat it, and he wasn't going to let his sister see him die as a coward. Madoka stared at Lief, scared for her brother. Lief ran forward and saw the venomous snakes come after him. He blocked them his sword and kept running. But the more of the demon snakes came, they encircled him and he knelt down. He then jumped into the air and gave himself a boost toward the witch. He yelled in fury and tried to attack the witch, but the witch only stayed knelt to the ground and the demons summond a tree to enclose Lief in and he felt the sharp needle stab into his back. Lief yelled in pain and Madoka saw to her horror his unmoving hand. 
    "Lief!" She called. But he did not flinch. Madoka ran over to help but she saw two twin blades dice the tree and Madoka watched as the red figure of Viva come and catch Lief. She landed on the ground and she huffed in annoyance. 
    "Man, I can't watch this anymore." Viva said. "Hang out here, let me show you a couple of basic moves." She said, getting ready to fight the witch. But Lief got into a running position and looked at the witch. "Hey!" Viva snapped. 
     "I can do this alone." Lief said, coldly. "Get out of my way." He then ran forward and he felt the sharp pain of the needles once again. But that did not stop him from cutting the witches head off. He got jabbed in the side and he fell to the ground. 
     "LIEF!" Madoka called. But then the room was filled with laughter. Madoka stared in surprise as she watched Lief get up, laughing, as if nothing happened. 
     "What's going on with him!?" Viva said. 
     Lief looked up at the witch, laughing and the witch finally attacked him over and over, cutting him up badly. Lief smirked and he blocked the demons with his sword. He then landed on the witch hard and he contuined to hit it contuinesly, mercilyessly. Lief laughed as though he was a lunatic.  
     "It's true!" He said, laughing. "I can block out the pain! I don't feel any pain anymore!!" He felt the demons attached to his sides and he took one final stab at the witch. 
     Madoka stared, frighten and scared of her brother. "Please, stop..Please." She whimpered. 
    Lief contuined to beat the witch until it stoped moving completly. He smiled. 
    "It's easy once you know how to block out the pain..." He said. "This way I'll never loose another fight!" as his wounds healed, he picked up a grief seed and smirked at Viva, with dazed eyes. He threw it at her, and she caught it, with her glare upon him. 
     "Here, you can have it." Lief said, smiling. "That's what you're here for, right?" 
     "Watch it!" Viva snapped. 
    "You don't have to get me back." Lief said, walking past Viva. "We're even now." 
    "Lief.." Madoka said, watching her brother slunk to her. Lief then turned back into his normal clothes and he stumbled into Madoka. 
     "I'm alright, just alittle weak is all." He said. 
     "Come on, lets get you home." madoka said, as she helped him down the steps. 
    As they left, Viva growled and glared. And all she had to say was this: That idiot.

     DON'T JUDGE ME!!!!!!!!! LIEF SEEMS LIKE THE PERSON WHO WOULD BREAK AFTER HIS CRUSH WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM HIM!!! SO ANYWAYS, AS I SAID, LIEF HAD THIS CRUSH ON THIS GIRL HE LIKED FOR A VERY LONG TIME, AFTER HE MADE A WISH TO BECOME A MAGICAL PERSON (in my own little fantasy life) HE WAS ABLE TO HEAL HIMSELF AND HE HEALED HIS CRUSH, BUT WHEN HIS FRIEND, DAIN, CONFESSED THAT HE HAD FEELINGS TO THE SAME GIRL, LIEF COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. HE FELT LIKE HE WAS THE ONLY ONE LEFT IN THE WORLD WHO FELT LIKE A MONSTER AND HE FELT NOTHING BUT HEARTBREAKING FEELINGS. WHEN HE WATCHED DAIN AND HIS CRUSH TALK, HE FELT HIS ANGER AND HATE FOR DAIN, BUT HE ALSO FELT HIS PAIN AND SORROW. HE WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFESS TO HIS CRUSH, SO WHEN KYUBEY TOLD HIM THERE WAS A WAY TO BLOCK OUT ALL OF THE PAIN, LIEF TOOK THAT OPPROTUINITY TO BLOCK IT ALL OUT DURING THE BATTLE WITH HIM AND ELSA MARIE. WHEN HE DID, HE GAVE THE GRIEF SEED TO VIVA, WHO WAS THERE WATCHING THE FIGHT, AND SHE TOLD HIM THAT THEY WERE EVEN. LATER THOUGH, MADOKA TRIED TO HELP LIEF COME BACK TO HIS SENSES, TELLING HIM THAT IT WASN'T RIGHT FOR HIM TO FIGHT LIKE THAT. LIEF ENDED UP SAYING TO HIS SISTER THAT SHE ONLY CARED FOR HERSELF AND THAT SHE WOULDN'T HELP HIM, EVEN IF HIS LIFE WAS AT STAKE. HE THEN RAN OFF, FEELING THE PAIN AND SADNESS AGAIN, AND HE BEGAN TO WONDER WHAT LIFE MEANT TO HIM NOW............PART 2 AFTER THIS.. THANKS FOR READING, I'LL SEE YOU NEXT TIME! ~CORALINE BEACKON.
