Author's Note:
Ok, this is just an idea of what i may or may not do, its based off of mlp and the story Beauty and the Beast. King Sombra and Twilight Sparkle's daughter, Astra, are the main characters of the story. Again, this is only an idea, not sure what I'll do exactly. But this in this scene, Sombra has saved Astra from a Manticore and he is now injured from saving her. So Astra takes him back to his castle. Now its based off of the wolf scene of Beauty and the Beast, so bare with me. I dont know if I will make this a story, but I will sure try to be creative as I can. So without further to do, Shadows of Light.
Enjoy~ ;)

Astra stared up at Sombra, his red eyes piercing her purple ones. She felt shivers run down her spine just staring at his snake like pupils. She thought about what to say after he rescued her, but with the cold snow around them, it was hard to think. She let a shaky breath leave her lips as she tucked her wings into her side.
Suddenly something warm was placed on her shoulders and she looked down to find Sombra's cloak. She looked up at him in confusion.
"It's too cold out," he told her. "I'd hate to see you freeze your miserable body out here."
Astra knew he was trying to stay cool but she smiled gently. "Thank you." She replied.
Sombra simply looked off in the distance. "We need to go back to the castle before that Manticore comes back." He finally took a step forward towards the way he came but he fell onto his side in the snow and Astra rushed over to his side. She stared down at his unconsious face then looked back up in caution. So she tried her best to carry him back to the castle until they were both safetly inside.
When Sombra woke from his sleep, he found himself in front of a fire place, the fire crackling onto the wood. Then clopping sounds and he whipped his head around to find Astra walking towards him. Her horn was lit and next to her in the air was a bowl and a damp towel. She sat the bowl down and she positioned herself in front of the fire and she took a seat next to him. She levitated the towel into the bowl of water.
"You're hurt." She replied and Sombra finally realized the pain at his side. So Astra pulled the towel out of the water and she held it in the air. "Don't move. It might sting a bit." She told him. Sombra frowned but he sat as still as possible while she gently damped the towel on his wound.
After a long silence, Sombra finally spoke. "why didn't you leave?"
She stared at him with her eyes. "You saved my life." She told him, putting her eyes back on his wound. "And i could leave you out there in the cold."
Sombra frowned. "But dont you want to go back home?"
Astra fell silent as she placed the towel into the bowl. "I think about it." She took a roll of bandages and slowly began wrapping it around his wound.
"So you don't care that you'll never see your family again." He said.
Astra frowned. "Of course i care! I care about there safety!" She snapped.
"So why did you come back!?" Sombra yelled.
"You were hurt! Someone was going to have to take care of you!" She retorted.
"Well if you didnt run away, i wouldnt have gotten hurt!" He said, in a matter-a-factly tone.
"If you didn't scare me I wouldn't have run away!" She told him.
"Well you shouldn't have been in the western tower!"
"You said i could explore the castle as much as i wanted!"
Sombra opened his mouth to reply but he said nothing, for he didnt have a good enough come back. So he shut his mouth and turned away, frowning.
Astra felt triumph in her chest but she didnt smile. She simply finished wrapping his wound, sighing.
"Thank you again." She told him.
Sombra stared at her. "For what?"
"For saving my life." She replied, meeting his eyes with her's.
Sombra, deciding what to say, simply replied "You're welcome." And the two sat in front of the fire place, the servants watching in the doorway intentlly.
