Interlude - 1

The classes went to their respective discussion rooms. I was with horikita while Yousuke and Kei were trying to calm them down.

"So how do you plan to resolve this" Horikita

"It is you who has to resolve this not me"

"They are obviously going to blame you for holding back and betraying the class" Horikita

"Nothing I can do about now, can I?"

"If you admit that you were the mastermind and come out in the open, it would be pretty easy don't you think"

Even in this situation she was trying her best so that I would help the class more and leave my cover. But I have no interest in attracting unwanted attention. Horikita continued once she understood what I meant to say by not replying.

"I guess it's not my lucky day huh?"

"If anyone deserves the prize for being fresh out of luck it is me."

"Do you have any other method to resolve this situation?" She asked me

"What situation?" She looked surprised hearing my answer

"Don't try to play dumb here. You obviously are thinking of something aren't you?"

"No. I don't think I am in a difficult situation to begin with."

"Then let me ask you this, how are you planning to answer their questions once we get in there?" She asked and I replied taking the full weight of her expectations.

"Horikita... I believe I have already told you this. No one is better than me even if I'm going easy on them. You would do better to worry about yourself, not me" I replied in a serious tone

"Well then there's nothing to worry about. Let's go. Why do I feel weird and what is this strange sense of discomfort , I feel something is coming for me" Horikita

I don't need to say this but am I really in trouble? I don't think I am but for some reason horikita didn't realize what I was getting at.

We both reached the discussion room and we already could hear loud mutters coming from inside. Inside the room half of them were shouting while Yousuke and Kei were trying their best to handle the situation.

"That bastard was holding back all the time!" Miyamoto

"If he would have contributed then we may have reached higher classes by now" Okitani

"You people are really rude, juts wait for a couple of minutes and everything will be explained." Sudo has become quite mature hasn't he? He realizes horikita wouldn't allow for such situation to occur. But then you take a good look at him to find out he's grinning

He's doing it just to score points with horikita isn't he?

"Don't tell me Ken that you're taking his side now"

"Isn't his behavior just like Koenji" Ichihashi

"I think we should wait, I believe Horikita-san will explain everything when she comes back" Shinohara

To be honest I never expected something like that from her. Maybe she is doing it because Kei told her to or she has become mature. Well, both of the situations are equally likely but it is good to know that if she acts like this, she would me more than enough to keep Ike in check.

"Huh! uggo, you're taking his side too?" Ike

"You brain-dead perverted disgusting creep, who are you calling that?!" Shinohara

Here we go again.

"Of course you! you are the ugly one here and what has Ayanokouji done to yo-Ahh!" Ike exclaimed before being able to complete his statement. Horikita may have hit him too hard.
