After naming nakarating sa bahay ay bumalik na agad si papa sa kompanya para tapusin ang trabaho niya. Habang si manang naman ay magluluto sa kusina para sa tanghalian.
As for me, i am touring myself around the house. Malaki ang bahay nila Adriana. Modern house siya na may second floor.
Pagkatapos kong mag-tour ay bumalik ako sa living room at uupo na sana ako sa sofa nang biglang tumunog ang cellphone na hawak ko.
I look at the caller id at kumunot nalang ang noo ko nang si Siej ang tumawag kaya sinagot ko nalang ito at umupo sa sofa.
I cleared my throat first, "Yes?"
"Miss Pierce, this is Jacob. The President wants you to dress yourself in a formal way. May pupuntahan daw kayong banquet ngayong gabi." Sabi sa kabilang linya kaya sumimangot ako at inaalala kong sino itong nagsalita.

Si Jacob Li ay secretary ni Siej. In the book, nabasa kong ruthless din itong sekretarya ni Siej. Just like his boss, tsk.
Magsasalita sana ako ng hindi nang biglang may tumawag na naman sa telepono sa tabi ng sofa.
"Wait a sec, Secretary Li." Sabi ko nalang sabay lagay sa phone ko sa coffee table and get the landline on the side of the sofa where i sit, to answer it.
"Anak, i just want to tell you na may magaganap na banquet sa Montelco Clan this night. I want you to go together with Siej." Sambit sa kabilang linya. Si papa pala. Pero anong sabi niya? Attend? Sa banquet with Siej?
"Ah--eh--", Dad cut my word before i can even utter a refuse.
"Don't say no anak, this is for you and our company. I want them to know you more and to have a look of your relationship with Siej. Aside from that, your friends are all in there, anak." I sigh heavily because of what he said.
I don't want to attend kasi in the book i read, ganito din ang nangyari.
Adriana attend the banquet with Siej sa Montelco Mansion to give face for there relationship in the circle pero ilang minuto lang nawala si Adriana ay nag-uusap na ang male at female lead in the corner of the ballroom.
As what the book describes, they look ambigous at mapagkamalan pa silang mag-fiancee dahil sa atmosphere nila. Adriana saw it and she was in rage.
Lumapit siya sa dalawa at nag eskandalo. When those rich people saw what Adriana did, they accused Adriana of being a bully and even pointed fingers at her.
Adriana became a joke to that banquet kaya unti-unting bumaba ang stocks ng ama niya. That's the beginning of her miserable life.
As for Siej, wala itong pake kay Adriana. Not even his future father-in-law kaya i don't trust Siej. Kasi hindi ko mabasa ang laman ng isip niya. He is a cunning sly fox.
"Dad, i really wish I could go but I'm not feeling well. Alam mo namang bago pa ako na discharge sa hospital, papa. I want rest po." Sabi ko nalang nito sabay baba sa tawag.
As for my phone on the coffee table, nagpatuloy parin ang tawag kay Siej's number pero si Secretary Li ang nagsalita sa kabilang linya. Tsk.
Obvious naman talagang ayaw ni Siej kay Adriana pero bakit siya pumayag na ma-engage sila? Weirdo din itong Siej.
"You heard that, Secretary Li? I'm not feeling well so i sincerely apologise i can't go." I weakly said as i quickly ended the call.
Tumayo ako sa sofa hawak ang cellphone at pumunta sa kwarto ko. Pagkapasok ko sa kwarto ay humiga agad ako sa kama to sort what i know about the story in my mind.
If i change, Adriana's fate will be different from the plot. Plus i have to do what Adriana didn't do to the people besides her.
"Anong gagawin ko?" Mahinang bulong ko.
I opened my phone and see kung ilan ang laman ng pera ko sa mga cards ko and i was beyond shock ang dami ko palang pera.
Sa daming pera kong 'to, how about i build a coffee shop?
At least if ever we're gonna be bankrupt just as what i read on the book, i can still provide my family because of my coffee shop!
"Ang talino ko talaga geez!!" Masayang sabi ko.
Humanap ako ng maliit na notebook para magsulat ng kakailanganin ko to build a coffee shop.
Nakahanap naman ako agad ng small notebook kaya umupo ako sa kama at nagsulat.
Naisipan kong coffee shop nalang ang ipapagawa ko dahil addict kasi ako sa kape in my original world. Gusto ko man na pumasok sa mga sosyal na coffee shop, kapos naman ako sa pera kaya mga sachet na kape na mabibili sa sari-sari store lang ang iinumin ko.
Tsaka palagi ko naman kasing makita sa mga kdramas and movies ang mga characters na papasok palagi sa mga coffee shop. Like a coffee shop is their comfort place so i decide to build one.
I wrote the locaton first. Importante kasi ang location. Then the store. Saka barista! I have to find atleast two or three saka two waiter and one cashier na din.
I also wrote kung anong mga ilalagay ko sa coffee shop like i can put a small library and computers on it para narin may libangan ang mga costumers.
After i'm done writing it, i bite a little bit side of the pen as i smiled happily.
Just thinking about it makes me so happy na! I'm so excited geez!
Nilagay ko ang small notebook at pen sa bedside table ko saka umayos na humiga sa kama to take a nap.
Hindi ko alam pero i want to take a nap in every afternoon even in my original world.
Pero kasi simula nung nagtrabaho ako, i rarely got a nap in the afternoon kaya ngayong wala na akong trabaho, i should take a nap!
Nagising lang ako nang tinawag na ako ni manang para maghapunan. Wala sa huwisyo akong bumaba sa hagdan at pupunta na sana ako kusina nang biglang may tumawag sakin.
"Ah.. Miss Pierce!" I look at the man wearing a business suit standing in the living room looking shock while staring at me.
Tinaasan ko tuloy siya ng kilay. Huwag mo akong i-badtrip boy, wala ako sa mood. I just woke up from my beauty nap!
"Mr. President wants you to come along with him--," I cut him off before he can finish what he said.
"I already said i'm not feeling well, Secretary Li. If your boss won't understand what it's mean then it is his loss." I said as i gritted my teeth.
"But--," I glared at him kaya he shut his mouth but still look at me strangely.
Pag bad mood kasi ako, lalabas itong pagkapilosopo ko. I may be timid and shy person but when i learned what happen to Adriana, i can feel frustration and irritation easily.
I don't know why i feel that.. maybe because Adriana is the villainess and some of her fighting spirit is still here?
"But Mr. President is your--," I cut his word again.
"Hep-hep! Hindi naman siya ang nag-aya sakin ng personal na samahan siya sa banquet kaya bakit ako sasama? Tsk!" Asik ko.
But what i didn't know...
