Ever since i was little, I already know that this world I'm standing in is not true.
I don't know what age I am and who I really am. All i know is that my name is Marc Sebastian.
I don't even know why i came from this lonely world without anyone. Parents. Friends.
Not until she came to my world. My Ria.
"Saan na naman kasi tayo pupunta?" Hindi mapigilang tanong ko kay Ria while she's dragging me somewhere.
Nauna siyang nakatira dito sa orphanage and after one year niya rito ay saka ako dumating.
The people here don't mind me and Ria which made me feel so strange. It's as if we didn't exist in this orphanage at all.
Pero masaya na ako roon kasi we can do what we want. And I like it very much. Kasi i can be with Ria. And that's enough.
"Pupunta tayo sa malaking puno na natuklasan ko kanina!" ani Ria.
Tinignan ko siya ng nagtataka. Anong puno ba 'to?
"Saan naman? Malayo ba sa orphanage natin?" Even though walang pake ang orphanage sa amin, takot pa rin ako baka kasi may biglang magagalit sa amin.
"Hindi! Malapit lang," aniya, "Sinubukan ko nga 'yon akyatin at ang ganda talaga sa itaas! Makikita mo yung magandang view sa paligid."
Hindi ako umimik. But i followed her anyway at nang makaakyat kami sa puno ay totoo nga ang sinabi niya.
Ang ganda ng view. Never in my life have I ever seen the beautiful view of this unknown world.
"Nagustuhan mo ba?" biglang tanong ni Ria sa akin kaya masaya akong tumango.
"Magsalita ka naman!" reklamo niya sa akin kaya mahina akong tumawa sa inasta niya.
"I like it here," mahinang usal ko.
When i turn around and look at her nakatingin din pala siya sa akin as she smile widely at me.
"I hope we'll still be together until we're old," sambit ko nito.
Tumango ito habang nakangiting nakatingin sa akin.
"Sure! Promise 'yan ah!?" aniya as she extends her pinky finger.
Tumawa tuloy ako dahil sa inasta niya. Childish.
But i oblige anyway. We made a promise just like that. To be together.
I feel so happy and contented. I wish we can stay like this forever. But destiny is really cruel.
Ngayon ko lang na appreciate ang mundo'ng 'to not until some family adopt me.
Hindi ko na nakita si Ria after that day. Nor any news about her.
Gusto ko man bumalik sa pinas pero pinipigilan ako ng mga adopted parents ko or even if they won't stop me, destiny will always ruin my plans.
I don't know if destiny is making fun if me but as i am very determined to go back to Ria, nagulat nalang ako nang biglang may babaeng lumapit sa akin.
"You shouldn't waste your time about that plan of yours," biglang sambit nito.
I don't know who she is but i guess she's not human. Dahil na rin nakapasok siya sa study ko kahit may bantay at cctv naman ako sa labas.
"What do you know?" hindi ko mapigilan ang inis ko.
"Of course I know everything," anito, "Anyways, if you're really determined to go after her.."
I waited for her to continue pero ilang minuto pa itong natulala bago nagsalita ulit.
"Here's this book. Read this and remember this, Marc Sebastian. The moment you spill some of what those written inside this book.. you'll be punish," seryosong sambit nito.
