I was trying to avoid the female lead but the destiny is really...

"Thank you everyone and let the banquet begin!!" Nagpalakpakan na ang mga tao na ikinabalik ko sa huwisyo.

"Are you okay, Miss Pierce?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Mr. Lim sakin kaya hinigpitan ko ang pagkayakap sa braso ni Siej.

I can feel Siej being stiff pero hindi ito umimik.

"Yeah." I smile weakly. "Just... tired."

Kumuha ng wine glass si Mr. Lim at binigay ito kay Siej.

Minutes passed by pero hindi pa rin umalis si Sara Raugn, the female lead in the book.

Wala na akong magawa kaya tinanong ko na ito habang nakayakap pa rin sa braso ni Siej.

"What are you standing here for?" Mahinanong tanong ko nito na ikinagulat ni Sara kaya yumuko ito at ngumiti saka lumakad ng mahina palayo sa amin.

"The rumor is really true, Miss Pierce. There's this rumor that you are very possessive of Mr. Siej." Nakangiting sabi ni Mr. Lim as he look at me and then kay Siej kaya peke akong ngumiti at umiwas ng tingin kay Siej.

Hindi naman ako very possessive kay Siej ah! Ayaw ko lang talagang makasama o makasalubong ang female lead na si Sara kasi siya ang dahilan kung bakit kawawa ang buhay ni Adriana sa book.

Anyway, i don't know kung ano ang reaksyon ni Siej and even if i'm curious hindi ko siya titignan or ako ang matatakot sa tingin niyang masama psh! His intimidating me.

Time passed by, oras na para umuwi kaya nagpasya na si Siej na umuwi kaso lang tinawag na naman kami sa head elder ng Montelco family.

One of the helpers lead us to the lounge.

"Head elder is in his study po." Magalang na sabi nito habang nakatingin kay Siej.

Anyway i know, Siej and the head elder of Montelco family will surely talk about business.

Siej will of course go with head elder kaya for me, i will have to wait Siej here in the lounge.

I was about to sit in the long sofa kaso lang nakatingin pala si Siej sakin kaya tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.

Anong tinitingin nito?

"What?" I thought magsasalita ito pero tumalikod ito at sumunod sa helper.

Palabas na siya nang tinignan niya na naman ako hanggang sa sinarado na niya ang pinto.

"Weirdo." Sabi ko nalang at nakangiting umupo sa malambot na sofa habang kumuha ng apple sa coffee table.

I actually notice it, when we first entered here ay may mga snacks and fruits ng nakalagay sa coffee table. Probably, for me.

Bumuntong huminga tuloy ako. Ang masasabi ko lang ay being rich is so.. GREAT!

I don't know kung pinaglaro ba talaga ako ng tadhana kasi biglang may pumasok sa lounge where i stayed and the person is none other than the female lead, Sara Rougn.

The manipulator, psh!

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" tanong nito na masamang nakatingin sakin.

Aba't--! Kinakalaban talaga ako nito ah!

"Why? Is this yours? Your property? Your house? Your lounge? Your sofa? Tsk!" Naiinis tuloy ako.

"Nasaan si Mr. Avis?" She said pero hindi ko ito pinansin.

"I'm not his tail to know wherever the fudge he is." Sabi ko nalang.

"ADRIANA PIERCE!" Sigaw nito kaya tumayo ako na nandilim ang mukha.

Ang ayaw na ayaw ko sa lahat ay yung sinisigawan ako. I'm not even deaf!

"Did you just yell at me?"

"I... I.. Y-You-" I cut her words off.

"Do you know what i 'effin hate the most?" I look at her from head to toe at tumayo ng maayos as i cross my arms in my chest.

She gulps kaya i smirk, "I don't like being yelled at by someone who is not even in my level."

I don't know how pero nandito na pala sa loob si Siej and he even stare at me with no emotion written in his face kaya umirap ako.

Here comes the knight-in-shining-armor. Tsk!

"M-Mister S-Siej A-Avis.." Tawag ni Sara nito.

Only then, Siej look at Sara. Still with no emotions at all. Nagtataka tuloy ako.

The female and male lead staring at each other, there should be an emotions in Siej's face! But why--!?

"M-Miss P-ierce d-didn't mean to.. to.." Parang naiiyak na itong si Sara. She even lowered her head a little bit and looked pitiful.

I scoff because of her poor acting.

Naku! Ang oa naman ng babaeng 'to! Kaya pala inis na inis si Adriana sa kanya eh. What a liar!

Just like me, nag-iinit din ang dugo ko sa kanya. Seriously!

"Oh." Ani Siej kaya lumingon ako sa kanya at nagtatakang tinignan ko siya pero tinignan lang niya ako ng walang emosyon.

What is that even supposed to mean!?

"I-I.." Parang hindi makapaniwalang sabi pa ni Sara kaya i roll my eyes in disgust.

I may be an introvert but i really can't stand a woman who is so damn overreacting and a liar, tsk.

"Can we go now?" Naiiritang sabi ko kay Siej and he just nod at me kaya naglakad na ako palabas.

Nagulat tuloy ako nang bigla niya akong pinagbuksan ng pinto and he even hold it so i can get out of the launge safely at sumunod na ito sakin.

Naguguluhan na tuloy ako.

Anong meron kay Siej? Why didn't he protect Sara at all? Why do i feel that he is protecting me from  Sara?

I shake my head as i think carefully. Baka he wants me to stay away from Sara quickly so he can comfort her. Tsk.

Mabilis akong naglakad papunta sa sasakyan ni Siej at dumiretsong pumasok at umupo sa back seat na nakasimangot.

He really loves that Sara. Tsk. What a cheater.

Walang imik kaming dalawa sa loob ng sasakyan while Siej's driver is driving. I guess Secretary Li is still at Montelco's socialising or something.

Maybe nandoon siya kay Sara comforting her kasi crush naman ito ng boss niya. Tsk.

Busy lang sa pagtatype si Siej on his mobile phone and sometimes even answer some calls and speak foreign languages kaya tumingin nalang ako sa labas ng kotse.

I actually like to look outside the car kasi it makes me feels great.

I started to think that i want to do something for myself naman. In my original world kasi, i didn't enjoy myself very well.

"What are your plans tomorrow?" Biglang tanong ni Siej na ikinagulat ko.

I turn my head and look at him with wide eyes.

"Why do you ask?" Nagtatakang tanong ko nito but he just put his mobile phone on his pocket and stare at me with no emotion.

"Guess." Aniya.

Ano daw? Anong ibig niyang sabihin?
