I hear some noises around me so i slowly open my eyes at bumungad sa akin sina papa, manang, my friends with their eyes full of worry at me.
"Are you okay, my princess?" nag-alalang tanong ni papa sa akin.
I'm still laying in this bed na which i think is nasa hospital kami. Bukod din kasi sa white ceiling and this bed ay may naamoy din akong disinfectant which proves me right.
May naka insert kasing IV fluids sa left arm ko when i tried to raise it.
I look at my dad and remember what my mom said to me in my dreams.
I'm the real Adriana Pierce. He is my real dad. May ama ako. I can't believe it!
Bigla nalang bumuhos ang luha ko as i recall what my mom said and what my dad told me when i asked him about Adriana's mom which is my real mother, actually.
"W-What's wrong, Ria?" rinig kong tanong ni Diana sa nag-alalang boses.
"Are you okay, Ria?" tanong naman ni Stella sa mahinanahong boses.
I can hear manang sobs pero i still look at my dad. My real dad.
"P-Papa.." tawag ko nito.
His eyes suddenly widened as he stared at me saka he hugged me softly not to hurt my other hands kasi may dextrose.
"I'm sorry I didn't protect you well, anak," paumanhin ni papa sa akin as he caress my hair.
Umiling ako sa sinabi niya. Hindi, pa. You protected me well enough.
"No, don't be sorry, papa," mahinang sabi ko.
When i look around us again, hindi ko namalayang umalis pala sila Diana, Stella, Nick and manang at kami nalang ni papa dito sa loob ng hospital room ko.
"I failed you as a father, Adriana," he suddenly said that as he breaks away from our hug kaya i hug him tighter.
"You never failed papa," i sternly said to him as i patted his back comfortably just like how my mama patted my back when i was young.
Naalala ko na lahat. Yung maliit pa ako kasama sina mama, papa at si Siej. Even my friends Stella, Diana and Nick.
I can't believe na ako ang totoong Adriana Pierce kasi sa libro ko lang ito nabasa but reality is really... unpredictable.
Kung ako ang totoong Adriana Peirce.. Sino naman itong pekeng Adriana Pierce na villainess?
If the book that i read in that fake world is real then... nasaan na ang pekeng Adriana?
Hindi ko namalayan na bumalik na pala sina Stella, Diana and Nick sa loob ng room ko as my dad told us na he will make us some food sa bahay kaya uuwi muna sila kasama si manang.
Now, I'm left with my friends who i actually thought na hindi kasi sa una palang sila ang friends ng totoong Adriana pero ako pala iyon.
I'm currently seated on this reclining bed, still lying on it and leaning back while looking at them.
Si Diana ay nakaupo sa isang bakanteng upuan sa tabi ng bed ko.
Stella is sitting in bed beside my feet na natakpan ng kumot while Nick is sitting in the large couch just few meters away from my bed and laying on it comfortably.
"I can't believe that the executive assistant of Siej's cousin is a delusional woman!" biglang sambit ni Stella sa iritadong boses na ikinalaki ng mata ko.
I forgot why I'm here in the hospital!
"How's little Rey? Is he okay?" nag-aalalang tanong ko sa kanila.
I heard Diana and Nick chuckles kaya nagtataka ko silang tinignan.
"Seriously, Adriana Pierce.. nag-alala kami sayo rito pero iyan ang unang tinanong mo sa amin?" ani Stella na nakasimangot.
Umiling nalang ako sa inasta niya.
"Worried lang ako sa bata, oy!" ani ko.
Now i can talk comfortably with these people na walang pag-alinlangan kasi they are my real friends since we we're little pa.
Hindi ko lang alam kung bakit nawalan ako ng memorya about our childhood memories pero dahil sa mga sinabi ni mama sa dream ko na more like it's real ay naalala ko na ang lahat.
"Nag-alala siya sa nephew ni Siej," ani Nick kaya tinignan ko ito ng masama.
"Bibig babae talaga," ani Stella kay Nick pero sa akin nakatingin.
"Anong sabi mo!?" biglang sambit ni Nick na ikinagulat ko.
Anong nangyari sa dalawang 'to?
I was about to asks Diana about them pero biglang bumukas ang pinto at bumungad roon si Siej na kita sa mga mata nito ang pag-alala.
"Alis muna kami," ani Diana as she drag Stella and Nick palabas sa room.
Naiwan kaming dalawa ni Siej sa loob as he makes his way towards my bed habang tinitigan ko lang siya.
I'm looking at his face with amusement. I can't believe na Siej is so caring to me when we we're little up until now. Pero ang hindi ko lang malaman bakit naging cold siya sa akin.
Is this because of the fake Adriana Pierce? I heard hindi maganda ang attitude niya. Just like in the book.
He looks down at me while I stare back at him.
"Are you okay?" nag-aalalang tanong niya sa akin kaya tumango ako.
"Okay lang ako," sagot ko nito still staring at him.
Hindi siya umimik kaya tumikhim ako.
"How's Little Rey doing? Is he okay?" tanong ko sa kanya.
He nods, "He's okay, but we want him to see the psychiatrist in case he may be experiencing discomfort due to what happened,"
Tumango-tango ako sa sinabi niya. Mabuti naman pala kung ganoon.
"Why did you save him?" biglang tanong niya na ikinagulat ko.
"He's your nephew," iyan lang ang sagot ko.
"What if he's not my nephew then? Will you still save him?"
Kumunot ang noo ko sa tanong niya. I remembered him asking me this when we were little.
"Oo naman! I can't stand bad guys doing bad things to innocent people," sagot ko nito at umiwas ng tingin sa kanya.
This is also what i answered back then.
I don't know if he's testing me kung ako ba ang totoong Adriana or worried lang talaga siya sa akin or kay Little Rey, his nephew.
"You..." aniya.
"Huh?" i look back at him and kita ko sa mukha niya ang gulat. Bakit?
