Valeriana's pov

After putting everything away I looked around the room. It was bare and plain. I'll order things later to decorate and make the room mine. My ears pick up on shouting from downstairs. I leave the room before creeping towards the stairs.

"Zario, this is bullshit. How can I get an f on my assignment! The teacher has it out for me I swear. Everything I turn in is graded poorly," a guys' voice. I see three new faces. Two were identical. They shared the same ash brown hair color as me. We had light highlights. Their eyes were a lighter shade than mine but matched each other. The other boy had light brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Maybe your grade is accurate," one of the identical boys said. They had to be twins there was no doubt about it.

"It is not!" the hazel eyed boy says. I head back to my room before shutting my door behind me. Wow, I had many brothers. I'm the only girl. Which isn't as bad as it seems. I wasn't really into feminine things. I preferred to hang out with the guys anyways. When I mean the guys it's just Trey and my dads. We fix cars, fight, race, and other things that many girls weren't into.

"Valeriana!" Nazario's voice comes from the other side of the door before a knock sounds at the door. I pull the door open. "The others are here. Come down and meet them," he says before walking away. I take a deep breath before leaving the comfort of my new room. As I walked down the stairs eyes were on me. They had their mouths open as they stared at me with wide eyes.

"You look like a smurf threw up on you," the hazel eyed boy said.

"What is on your head?" one of the twins asked.

"Why are you wearing all this?" the other one asked. My eyebrows furrowed. What is on my head? I reach up to my head. I laugh lightly when I feel the bouncy headband. I pulled it off. My school colors were blue and white.

"It was spirit day at school today. I like to be the most obnoxious student so it's hard to not notice me," I state. I step off from the last step before my phone rang. I pull it out of my pocket. Trey was calling. "Sorry," I say before declining the call. I went to put my phone away when it rings again. I answer it. "What?" I asked.

"Your principal is a fucking liar. I got detention for that prank we pulled. How the hell is it fair that I get punished and you don't when it was your idea?" Trey rambled. I smile before biting my tongue to keep from laughing.

"My bad. That is awful. I apologize... Truly. You should have made a wish. The wishing star was granting wishes today. You could have gotten out of this scott free like me. Sucks to suck," I say.

"I wish you-"

"Careful what you wish for, Trey," I say before hanging up. I shove my phone in my pocket. While shaking my head I walk closer to my brothers.

"I'm Matteo."

"Valerico."

"Valentino." our names were similar. "If you couldn't tell we are triplets," Valentino states. Wow, triplets. I could maybe understand not to tell me about my siblings but to not tell me I was a triplet is crazy.

"Do I need to introduce myself or are you guys all good and caught up?" I asked.

"We're good," Matteo responds. I nod my head.

"Now, it's nice meeting you all but I need to shower to clean this off. Then I'll be going to bed. I had a long night and I'm quite tired," I say with a smile.

"With your break and entering?" Nazario asked. My three brothers' mouths dropped open along with mine. "Aurelio mentioned it briefly."

"Pfft, well he was wrong. Because the door was unlocked. I did enter though. If they didn't want anyone inside the door should have been locked," I say before crossing my arms over my chest as I walk away while shaking my head.

After getting ready this morning I left the room. The dining room was attached to the kitchen. There were loud voices talking over another. When I walked into the room it became silent as everyone stared at me. There was a new face among them. The final brother I have yet to meet.

"Santino." he says before going back to eating. He watched me silently. I nod as a greeting.

"Waffles, sausage, and eggs were made for breakfast, take what you want," Aurelio says. My eyes float around the table. They all had big plates full.

"Come sit," Valerico says, patting the chair next to him.

"No thanks. I'm not hungry. I was just letting you know I was heading out for the morning," I say. Even though I lived with my dads most of the time. I still struggled with eating because of my mother's neglect throughout my whole life. Many times there would be no food and I would go without. My dads try to get me to eat but they don't force it upon me. They would just make it known they had food and it was ok to eat it when I was hungry.

"Alright. You can go. Have fun," Aurelio says. I give a small bow before leaving the room. My eyes widened when I realized what I just did. My cheeks heat from embarrassment. When my mother was around, if I was dismissed she had me bow out of respect to her and her guests she had. It reminded me of Asian dramas. With the respectful bow they do. It was a habit to bow when being dismissed. I hated it but every damn time I catch myself doing it with my dads and now my brothers. So embarrassing. After arriving at the mall I buy things for my room. Anything I liked I bought. I have some cash that I didn't give to my dads to save for me.
