Valeriana's pov

My eyes take in Verena. She sat in the grass in the backyard. Her hair swayed slightly when the wind blew. She was truly beautiful. She plucked the grass as she watched the leaves sway in the wind. Valentino and Valerico were inside. They have been for almost an hour now. Yet Verena remained seated in the grass. Even though it was winter it wasn't cold or snowing. Verena had a light jacket on. She leaned back on her hands when the sun peaked out of the clouds.

The sunlight grazed her skin. She had a smile on her face. She soaked up the little warmth the sun gave off. I smiled to myself as I watched her. Just seeing her out here I can tell she likes nature.

"Just go over and sit with her. She wouldn't mind," Valentino says. I glance at him. He had a smirk on his face. He was watching me watch Verena.

"I know she wouldn't mind. I like to watch her from afar," I admit my cheeks tint pink. Valentino chuckles before pinching my cheek. I swat his hand away.

"Well Valerico and I are not going out there until you man up and go sit with her. Actually we are going out now... It came up suddenly. Just right now... Uh we forgot to go shopping for snacks... That we no longer have... Since we ate them all... Right, well, we're leaving now, bye," Valentino says before rushing off. Damn he still can't pull off being subtle.

My tongue glides over my bottom lip before I sigh. I step out of the back door and head over towards Verena. I sat down next to Verena. She glanced at me before smiling at me.

"Hey, Little love," Verena says. My heart beats faster. I smile at her.

"Hey... I was totally watching you the whole time the boys went in," I rushed out. Verena chuckles. She nudged her shoulder with mine.

"That's cute and creepy at the same time, little love," Verena states. I laugh while nodding my head.

"It is creepy but I like the way you look when you think you aren't being watched. You're carefree and enjoy your time alone. You also like nature whether it is the sounds from the animals or the visuals you see. It's cute when you hear birds. Your eyes search for them and then when you find them you watch them until something else catches your attention," I say. Verena nods her head. Her eyes were searching my face.

"Yet if you were out here my attention would never stray from you," Verena smirks. My nose scrunched up. She smiles before booping my nose. My nose relaxed. I narrow my eyes on her. "Oh come on, it was cute. Do it again," Verena pleads. I shook my head. Verena's bottom lips stuck out. I roll my eyes before poking her bottom lip. She smiles at me. My thumb strokes her bottom lip.

"You know if my brothers weren't watching right now I would kiss you," I mumble.

"One thing that sucks about secretly dating is not being able to kiss or hold you when it's wanted," Verena says, causing me to nod. I drop my hand. Verena looks away from me.

"I'll just kiss you later," I mutter with a smile. Verena's head snaps to mine.

"You fucking better, Little love. It's fun teasing your brothers. Having them not know if we are together or not but don't tease me," she says. I laugh lightly.

"It's a promise, Sole (sun)," I state while looking her in the eyes. Verena stares at me with a smile.

"Are you sure your brothers are watching?" Verena asked. I chuckle while nodding my head.

"They are trying to be quiet by whispering. They are on my balcony right now. They aren't sneaky. They are currently trying not to be loud as they argue over something. I can't tell exactly what is being said," I say. Verea shook her head.

"That's one reason they aren't allowed on missions together anymore. Aurelio, Nazaio, and Santino had to bail them out several times and they separated them after that."

"Of course they're stupid enough to get caught," I laugh. Once Valentino and Valerico start arguing it leads to them wrestling. Then Aurelio gets involved to break them up before they can break something in the house.

My ears picked up on the sound of my brothers. They were still whispering but angrily at each other. I look back at them. They were both facing each other. They had scowls on their faces. Their hands were both motioning all around them. I roll my eyes. Valentino shoved Valerico back. With a smile I quickly kiss Verena. She pulls away from me before looking at my brothers. They were now trying to tackle each other. She chuckles before standing up and pulling me up by my hand. She laced our fingers together before pulling me into the house.

We head upstairs to my room. When we got to my door it was shut but you could hear my brothers inside. I pull Verena into me before placing my lips on hers. Verena smiles before kissing me back.

"You're just asking the boys to catch you," Nazario says. Verena pulls away from me before licking her lips. That causes butterflies to erupt in my stomach. Nazario smiles at me. I shrug my shoulders.

"Matteo is out. Valentino and Valerico are currently fighting in my room," I state before opening my door. Nazario looks at our brothers fighting each other. He shook his head.

"Yeah, you both could stand right next to them kissing and they will still not figure it out," Nazario muttered. I look at my brothers. They didn't even know we were right here watching them act like kids. I walk into my room and lay on the bed. My elbows dug into the bed as my chin rested in my hands. Verena lays down next to me. We watch the boys hit each other. Valerico finally managed to get Valentino on the ground. He jumps up cheering. Valentino looked up from the ground. He glared at our brother.

Valentino's eyes snapped to the bed. Valerico looks over. His eyes widened slightly when he saw Verena and myself. He pursed his lips.

"How long have you both been there?" Valerico asked. I look at Verena. She looks at me before looking back at Valerico.

"The whole time you two began to fight," she lied. Valentino got up from the ground. He sits on the bed by my legs. He lays on his back. His head was next to my shoulder. Valerico found my remote before turning on a movie before laying down on my bed.
