Valeriana's pov

We were all in the gym spread out. The principal didn't want another fight so she had Miss Wells bring us here so we didn't have to be near each other. I was laying down on the bleachers. It was a hard plastic. I had a hoodie under my head as I used it as a pillow. My eyes close as I fall asleep. My body rolled off the thin bench causing me to jump up.

"Shit, I'm ok!" I shouted when everyone looked at me. My hand rubs my knee as I walk over to Verena. "That hurt," I mumble to myself. Verena was laying on her back. Her legs were spread open as her feet were placed on the ground on either side of the seat. One was higher than the other since the bleachers were elevated with each seating. I flopped down so I was laying on Verena. She tensed before relaxing when she looked down at me and saw who it was. My head laid right below her breast.

"Are you sure you're ok? That fall sounded like it hurt. Your heart is also racing," Verena asked.

"It scared me, I was asleep then I fell. It did hurt. I'll most likely have a bruised knee tomorrow," I sigh. "I'm falling back asleep, so keep me from falling," I mumble tiredly. Verena placed one hand on my back and the left hand cupped right below my right butt cheek. My stomach fluttered.

"Keep you from falling... seems easy," Verena responds. I could hear the smirk in her voice.

"You just wanted to touch my ass," I mumble. Verena chuckled, causing her body to rumble lightly.

"Obviously," she states. Her other hand that was on my back came up and she ran her hand through my hair soothingly. I managed to get a few more minutes of sleep before Miss Wells was telling everyone detention was over. I push myself up and rub my eyes. Verena sits up causing our faces to be really close.

"Good luck with the rest of your plan, little love," Verena says before kissing my forehead. She gets up and walks away. I walk out of the room. Miss Wells shut the gym doors behind her.

"I talked with your brother. He thinks it's a great idea you switch classes," Miss Wells says. She follows me out of the school.

"Of course he thinks it's a great idea, he doesn't have to take the class. He just wants what's best for us. An advanced class will challenge me a little so he wants that for me. He doesn't want me to take the easy way out," I say. Miss Wells stops next to her car.

"Well the easy way shouldn't be the way to go. Your brother is right. At least hear him out," Miss Wells says. I nod my head before walking away. I hear her get into her car. She starts it but it doesn't start, it just makes a noise. I smirk as I get into my car. When it starts I look back at Miss Wells. She got out of her car and was looking under the hood. She didn't seem like someone to know what was wrong but you can't judge a book by its cover. I quickly drove over to her. I park my car next to hers. I get out and stand next to her.

"Everything ok?" I asked. Miss Wells sighs.

"My car won't start. Do you know anything about cars?" she asked.

"Yes, but my papà knows more. I can see if he will take a look at it and fix it," I say. Miss Wells makes a face.

"How long will that take? I have to go let my dog out," she asked.

"You have a dog!?" I asked. My mom never let me get a dog. Then it made sense to stop asking when I barely had food to feed myself let alone a dog.

"Yes," she says.

"I don't know how long it will take to be honest with you Miss Wells. Depends on what's wrong with it. If you're in a rush I can give you a ride home. My dad can still look at it and fix what's wrong and you don't have to keep your dog waiting. I'm sure it needs to go outside," I say.
