So guys I just posted the second chapter but I feel I should put some points out there first.
1. I'm not going to be posting daily because I have a full time job and it just won't be possible. Today I did it because it's a holiday and since this week I have a relatively light schedule maybe I'll upload 1 or 2 more. But from next week onwards the updates will probably be once a week. Once I find my rhythm things will get easy.
2. I'm still struggling a little with the technicalities of Wattpad. Some bits that I already edited in Word somehow don't appear in Wattpad for some reason. For eg. Sidharth and Shehnaaz's s internal dialogues will always be in italics. But due to some glitch they don't always show. So bear with me till I get the hang of things.
3. I feel I need to put something out there about the character of Sidharth. This is a mature book and the character is supposed to be real. He is a flawed personality and there will be situations in the future where his actions will be questionable or even problematic. But please realise, this is how real men and women are. Not everyone is always black or white. There are a lot of greys out there and I intend to show those aspects of characters also. Because I write stuff based on reality. So if you are expecting the Prince Charming, I'm warning you from before, this is not going to be it. There might be moments where you may disagree with his actions. But that's what real life and real human beings are like. Most of the characters in my book will have some flaw or the other. Even Shehnaaz.
4. This is a fiction so please treat it as one. This book does not criticise or judge or put out any commentary on any religion whatsoever. It represents no particular side. All opinions expressed through the characters are my own. I'm not here to demean or insult or offend any religion. So please keep this in mind while reading.
5. Lastly, my Urdu lines may not be 100% accurate. I depend heavily on Google translate so in case of any mistakes, i apologise in advance and do let me know the correct terms. Help will always be appreciated!
