Jace just stared at my face while we danced and it felt a bit awkward to have someone like him just stare at your face.
"So would you have Ian dance with you right now?" He questioned and I frowned my face at him
"What kind of question is that?, how would I know if I wanted to dance with him. I mean, I barely know the boy" I said and he just looked away
"What about Cole?, you seem to be getting along with him just fine except when in the car" he said and I chuckled
"Cole's someone I never knew I'd meet. I mean he's Cole Adams, but he's different in personality from what I see on the Internet. He's very warm and lovely to be around" I admitted and he nodded
"Cole is the best. He's actually not this friendly to any girl so you should consider yourself a lucky one" he said and I smiled
"And what about you?" I asked and he raised a brow at me
"What about me?" He asked
"You and Rachael" I pointed out and he looked straight at me
"I thought you were smarter than that, how can I have something for a girl that I met some minutes ago" he said as he twirled me around
"Well you didn't think about it that way when you asked about Ian" I said and he looked out of words
"Whatever" he said and I smirked
"See you later" I said and he looked confused
"Why?" He asked and with that Cole grabbed by hand and pulled me to him while Rachael twirled to Jace. We had switched and he didn't look too happy to see Rachael and I chuckled looking at them.
The dance ended and Cole and I were panting like crazy.
"I feel so alive" he said as he walked us to a table and I dabbed my face with a tissue.
"So how was your night?" He asked as he stopped a waiter with a tray of pasteries and my eyes widened
He took some cookies,cupcakes and a slice of pie for us. I ate like a lady since I was one but deep down I knew I wanted to gobble it down.
"It was fun, especially dancing with you" I answered and he looked really pleased
"Then should we go for the last dance of the night?" He asked and just as I was about to answer we heard Jace's voice
"No more dancing, we're going home" we heard him say as he walked up to our table and Cole laughed while I smiled to see Rachael blowing Jace an air kiss and he sighed.
"We're leaving now" he said looking like he wanted to throw a glass at somebody
"Chill bro, you wouldn't see Miss Rachael again" Cole assured him as he patted his back and we suddenly heard a giggle behind us and we all turned startled to see Rachael
"I just wanted to say think about me all night and call me" she said with a beautiful smile on and I looked at her with a bit of envy.
She left with her heels clicking on the floor and we just looked after her. Once she was gone Jace turned to the direction of the door
"Let's go" he ordered and we followed him as we smiled at important people who we passed, well except for Jace.
We went behind the building where the car was parked and stood looking to see if anybody was around. Once the cost was clear I spoke first
"So did you guys get anything, did you find any hostages?" I asked eagered and Cole shook his head
"No we didn't, all the secret rooms on the map turned out to be cells where they kept people like prisoners" Cole answered
