My eyes widened as I see Malik fall to the ground, the monster or whatever I had just saw— it had attacked him, leaving a bite mark on his wrist and a claw marks on Ashlyn's arm.

Malik cries out in pain as he fell to the ground.

Where the hell did that thing go? I thought to myself as I quickly looked around, it seemed to have vanished pretty quickly.

I turn to malik who looked down at the bite mark on his arm, he winced as he leaned against the wall, blood dripping from the bite.

"Okay, I'm getting quite tired of this place. can we leave?" I asked with slight irritation due to seeing Malik getting hurt. "The second we got here the vibe felt off. what's the hold up?"

"It's fine, really." Malik says while dusting himself off and helping Ashlyn up.

And as I think back on these memories,
I wonder..is that bite mark still there..?
