Rea placed her bag down, before sitting down with a small sigh.

Her eyes moved around to the other passengers who were waiting to get on their planes, and she couldn't help but look down at her hands.

The lump in her throat hadn't left since she got on the taxi to the airport, but for some reason the tears wouldn't come out.

Angel looked at her for a couple of seconds, before placing his arm around her shoulder as comfort.

She gave him a small smile as she leaned against his shoulder, looking at the small TV in the corner of the gate.

She couldn't help but laugh a little as she pointed at it, making Angel look over as well.

"That's the race." She said softly making Angel smile and nod his head.

"It's the biggest event in Le Mans, so naturally almost everyone talks about it here. You're the only one who was always out of the loop."

"Shut up." She rolled her eyes playfully as she stared at the TV, seeing the winners being brought up onto the small stage with three different levels for first, second and third.

The camera panned around until it landed on a bright smile Lee Heeseung, who waved as he was given a bouquet of flowers and his huge trophy.

He respectfully bowed at the presenter, making her spot the necklace around his neck and Rea couldn't help but smile as well.

Rea watched as he was brought on the stage in the center of the track, and his gold medal was placed around his neck.

They passed him the huge trophy as he smiled brightly, looking around at the roaring crowd.

She stared at the way his eyes were gleaming, but they weren't there all the way and she wondered if she had anything to do with it.

His face dimmed a little, just as the announcer was heading to him with a microphone.

"Lee Heeseung! You recovered from your accident in record time and have just become the youngest racer to win a championship with such amazing scores! What do you have to say?"

Heeseung cleared his throat a little before looking around again, adjusting the huge trophy in his arm so that he could talk comfortably.

"I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my entire journey as a racer. My coaches, our crew and the community that has cheered me on for the long four years of my career, I will never forget this moment." He spoke, a smile on his lips that didn't reach his eyes.

"We're all so happy for you-"

"We are now boarding passengers in Zone 2. Zone 2."

Rea's eyes didn't leave the T.V as the announcement rang through her ears.

The urges to cry hadn't left her and it still didn't leave her as Angel slowly stood from his seat, grabbing both of their carry-on bags.

Rea looked around her empty living room, which she used to never notice the emptiness of.

Her hair was wrapped in a towel to dry after her long shower, and her fuzzy robe was on so that she could have breakfast before work.

She turned on her coffee machine and waited patiently.

Her phone suddenly dinged, and she almost threw herself to check it, smiling immediately as she saw a text from Heeseung.

://Call me.

She immediately facetimed him and her eyes brightened at the sight of him.
