you wake up shivering. somehow, colby has the whole comforter on his side. you don't wanna wake him up so you just get out of bed and put on a hoodie.
as you crawl back into bed colby feels the bed dip down and he turns around to face you. suddenly, you feel warm arms wrap around your waist. colby pulls you back towards him and mussels his head in your neck. you fall asleep within minutes
2 hours later you woke up again from the cold air blowing from the celling fan. you pull the comforter trying to cover your exposed body but it doesn't budge. "oh my god" you mumble to yourself pretty annoyed since he's hogging the SHARED blanket.
you turn around to face colby who's totally dead asleep. you give the comforter a last yank and managed to get some blanket from colby's grip. all of a sudden the blanket gets yanked from you and goes to colby's side once again
"babe!" you whine, hoping to wake him up. but he only turns around with the blanket, taking all of it with him
"colby!" you say louder this time
"what!? what are you okay?"
"alright calm down buddy" you say annoyed
"the hell did you wake me up for?"
"you've been stealing the covers all night! i'm freezing balls" you say, taking some covers back
"what makes you think i stole all the blanket?" he asks
"WHY DO YOU THINK IM TAKING IT ALL BACK?"
"okay okay i'm sorry, come here"
"no i'm pissed at you." you turn around away from him
after a few seconds of silence, colby turns you around and pulls you into his chest to cuddle.
"HEYYY" you whine
"heyy you are cold"
"yeah im fucking freezing. you're mean"
"i'm sorry" he says while fixing the blanket to cover both of you
"you're so warm" you whisper
he squeezes you tight, making sure to keep you nice and warm
a few minutes pass and he thinks you fell asleep
"you good now?" he whispers, letting go of you
"nooo hold me" you whine, scooting closer to him
"what?" he says tiredly
"hold me!" you whine
he grunts while he pulls you back towards him again. you see his sleepy face and awe, you can't stand being mad at him, he looks so peaceful sleeping.
"i love you" you whisper "even tho you're a blanket snatcher"
"i love you. even tho you need a blanket every minute of the day" he says half asleep
"good night colby" you whisper
he leaves a sloppy kiss on your cheek with a tired smile "good night baby"
