Chapter 31
A car was rashly driving on the road, as if the person wanted to reach the destination as soon as possible. Vidyut took Sakshi and Mythili home. He came out from the car and so was Mythili and Sakshi. Anger radiated from his posture but he was controlling. One night and everything changed.
Dinner to Disaster!
They entered the house and found Mr. Agnihotri was awake and walking to and fro. Vidyut rushed tohim and asked
“Dad, why are you awake?”
“How can I sleep when my kids are outside in a tense situation.”he replied, making Vidyut’s stiff body relax or we can say act. Sakshi felt bad and held herself responsible for the same.
Though it was true
“I..I am s..so..sorry Uncle!” Sakshi whispered coming near to him making Vidyut rolled his eyes and Myhtili smiled
“It’s Okay Beta! This age is not coping up with the stress and when my kids are not at home how can I rest?” Mr. Agnihotri cooed her.
“Yes, Kids are very immature, Dad. not understanding the situation and very judgmental keeping the old days of togetherness on stake.” Vidyut taunted, making Mythili guilty and Sakshi angry.
“Yes, things were playing behind their backs. Kids become judgemental and also behave immature.”Sakshi bombarded.
“At Least try to listen..”Vidyut about to say when Mr. Agnihotri said
“Enough both of you. Mythili beta came and took a rest. You are also not well.”
“I am not feeling sleepy, maybe Sakshi Mam, she had traveled and all these incidents…”Myhtili tried to speak
“Leave my tension, you just care for yourself and the life in you.”
“Sakshi…don’t start again. It’s nothing like that.” Vidyut growled but Saskhi was not ready to listen.
“Time out if any of you discuss anything to lead the argument then I will kick you all out to garden. Do once…and see my worst.” Mr. Agnihotri reprimanded.
Myhtili came to the drawing room after getting water for everyone. They took it as all were tired , Mr. Agnihotri took his medicine which surprised Sakshi and a pang of hurt…of course
Myhtili found Mr. Agnihotri was smiling looking at his care and then Sakshi who was fuming and hurt ast the same time. Everyone were already in the drawing room, Vidyut huffed and went to his father but Myhtili said
“I am sorry for bothering you Sir,all happened because of me.”
“You were never a bother to me Mythili. I considered you always my daughter.” he ruffled her head making Sakshi feel jealous. Vidyut understood theri bond and smiled, then glared at Sakshi, he murmured
“Your eavesdropping habit and early conclusion without considering the situation, land you in some big problem.” Saskhi looked at him angrily
“I am here because of you. I wanted to surprise you and see I got a surprise. That’s why you were ignoring me from past few months? You and your so- called love are begging to me. If I am such a villain in your life then remove this thorn.Please let me go.” she said with teary eyes when Myhtili came to her with a plate of food
