====================================

LOCATION:
HUMAN DIMENSION(REAL WORLD)
[CLASSROOM 201]

TIME:
[PRESENT TIME]

POV: ASHLYN

I grow confused to what he is currently doing. He's just... there, looking weirdly at something.

I decide to call him out.

Ashlyn: "Mr. Thomas?"

Only now is when Mr. Thomas snapped out of his trance, and realize what he should be doing.

Mr. Thomas: "Oh, right! Thank you."

He finally takes mine and Carter's assignment sheets. Tyler calls me out. Annoying.

Tyler: "Hurry up."

Ashlyn: "How about you shut up?"

I walk towards them, as all of us leave the classroom.

POV: MR. THOMAS

I grow confused to what I just saw. Ashlyn's shadow, unlike her, have no braids. I look at Ashlyn, still thinking if what I just saw is right.

Mr. Thomas: 'Did I see that right?'

TIMESKIP

LOCATION:
[SCHOOL CAFETERIA]

POV: ASHLYN

Tyler: "Am I seeing this right?"

Finally, I lean towards the top of the table, as I show all of them my shadow. Aiden and Ben are finally here, by the way.

Ashlyn: "The same thing happened with Carter. His jacket have no shadow as well."

Aiden suddenly grabs my left braid.

Aiden: "Woah that's pretty rad-"

Ashlyn: "Let go before I break your arm."

Taylor sighs, not wanting to deal with more of this.

Taylor: "Ha... Another mystery..."

Logan then speaks up.

Logan: "This might have something to do with why injuries from the phantom dimension don't transfer to our dimension."

I then remember something. I ask Logan.

Ashlyn: "Speaking of injuries, how are you holding up?"

Logan then holds the left side of his stomach, where the injury was.

Logan: "Oh, um... It kinda feels like I have a rash and it's pretty sore. Like I've been doing sit ups or something. But it's nowhere near as painful as it was last night."

I realize that the same has happened to both me and Carter back then.

Ashlyn: 'So it's the same.'

Logan: "Speaking of which, how is Carter with his own injury?"

Ashlyn: "Hm? He said the same thing earlier. It still hurts but it feels less painful, he said."
