"Nobody has ever measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold."

"Are you sure you don't want me to be here? I can cancel my appointments for you," He stated

"No, no. I can manage. Go forth and get that deal," I smiled

"You sure?" He asked

"100%" I said "Now, off you go. Bye!" I shouted as I pushed him outside but he blocked his body by the door.

"Can't I get a good luck kiss from you?" He wiggled his brows

"If I give you a kiss, you'll go already?" I asked him.

"Yes, I promise to go and multiply," He said and I glared at him.

"Numbers. Multiply numbers," he added. I just smiled at him and pulled him down for a kiss.

I was just planning for a peck on the lips but he held my head, capturing my mouth and explored my taste.

I pulled away first and said, "You need to go. No need to deepen it," I smiled

"I'll be back tonight. Take care" he kissed my forehead and my heart did some somersaults.

I sighed and managed to smile at him before he disappeared. I went back inside to call someone.

"Hello? It's me, Janine"

"Janine! Oh my! I've been waiting for your call! I thought you won't call," she said. She's Zeya Conson, my brother's wife. We met again during the party and we did some catch up because it's been a long time since we've talked about random stuff.

"I'm very sorry if I haven't called you. I just became very busy," I said

"Wanna meet? We could meet in an ice cream parlor. I know this ice cream parlor uptown. They sell the best ice creams"

"I want to meet you but I can't leave my dog alone," I admitted

"A dog? You didn't mention anything about a dog,"

"He's a gift given to me last night. Adam gave him. He knows I love dogs," I smiled

"That's so sweet of him. How about we meet at your place? Or in the park?"

"The park sounds great. I think I need some fresh air. You don't mind meeting with me, do you?" I asked

"Of course not. So, what time are we gonna meet?" She asked energetically

"When's your free time?"

"Anytime!" She laughed "but I am not available today," she sighed

"Oh, it's okay. How about your son?" I asked

"Oh, Joshua has nannies to look after him. Or I could bring him if you want" she said

"Wouldn't it be a burden for you? He's still 4 months old. So fragile"

"I can bring a nanny. How 'bout we'll meet at the park tomorrow afternoon? Luckily, I'm still in the mansion. Is that good?"

"Very good. See you tomorrow!" I ended the call then called for him.

"Zwalter? Zwalter?"

"Zwalter?" Then, I heard a bark near the stairs. I quickly followed the sound and saw Zwalter looking up the stairs.

"You want to go up?" I asked, picking him up

"You're wish is my command!" I stroked his silky fur
