Chapter 18

Piper's POV

"Luna!" I yelled for her.

Waiting for an answer, all I got was silence.

"Luna, you need to get ready for bed!" I yelled again.

"UGHHHHH" Luna loudly sighed.

Jasmine tapped my arm and smiled.

"What?" I asked her.

"Nothing." She said and kissed me.

Squinting at her, I got very suspicious.

"What did you do...?" I asked her.

She said nothing and just smiled at me. She looked over to Luna's bedroom door but quickly looked back at me. I started to walk towards Luna's room but Jasmine stepped in front of me.

"Jazzy... I love you but move over." I said.

"Fineee..." She said stressing the word.

I quickly walked over to Luna's room to see a complete mess.

"What did you guys do???" I said.

"We were making crafts and Luna sort of went overboard on glitter." Jasmine explained.

"WERE YOU GUYS PLANNING ON MAKING GLITTER WALLPAPER??" I said.

"Not initially..." Jasmine said.

"Ugh, Jasmine go get the vacuum." I told her.

I went and grabbed the trash can and tried to dust the glitter off into the trash as Jasmine tried vacuuming the glitter from the carpet. Luna had got tape to try to get the glitter off both the wall and floor.

Eventually, most of the glitter was cleaned up but of course it will never be gone. I never completely understood what they meant with the saying "Glitter is the herpes of the craft world." but now I fully understand.

"Luna, sleep well. Goodnight." I said to her and kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight." Luna replied before Jasmine kissed her forehead.

Jasmine walked out of the room so I turned off the light and closed the door. Walking into the bedroom, Jasmine was laying on the bed.

"I'm tired, hurry up and come to bed." Jasmine told me.

I smiled at her, ran over, and wrapped my arms around her.

"So. Much. Glitter." I said.

"I know right?" She replied.

"Remind me to never get glitter." I told her.

"Oh, I'm sure both of us will never forget this." Jasmine joked.

I laughed at the remark but started to yawn.

"Hey, stop yawning. It makes me want to..." She said before yawning.

"You're too cute." I said looking into Jasmine's beautiful eyes.

"Not as cute as you." She said smiling.

"Oh, shadduppp." I replied.

"Make me." She teased me.

I smirked and pulled her face close to mine, kissing her.

"I'm so in love with you." Jasmine said.

"Not as much as I am with you." I replied.

"That's impossible." Jasmine said.

"Nope, very possible." I said.

Jasmine smirked at me and started kissing me. Oh, using my trick now? Two can play at that game. Putting my hands on her's, I grabbed her wrists and pinned her.

"Fair enough..." Jasmine laughed.

I didn't answer, only stared dead into her eyes.

"Well, now what're you planning on doing?"  She asked me smiling.

I thought about it for a second but then got off of her and laid down. Turning the lamp off, I felt Jasmine's arm wrap around my waist. She kissed my shoulder and then snuggled closer to me.

"I love youuu..." Jasmine whispered.

"I love you too." I said then drifted off to sleep.

Luna's POV

Laying in bed, I stared at the ceiling trying to sleep. After a while of that, I got up for a midnight snack. I'm craving cake...

"Hmmm" I quietly hummed as I walked through the darkness.

Walking around the corner to the kitchen, I stubbed my pinky toe and felt like screaming bloody murder. Thankfully, I held my screams in and breathed. Carefully walking to the fridge, I opened it and grabbed the last slice of chocolate cake.

"Mmmmmm" I mumbled as I dug in.

Noticing that I made a mess, I washed my hands off and cleaned up the crumbs. I grabbed a bottle of water and carefully went back to my room.

Laying back down, I couldn't fall asleep for a while but eventually I did.

*crash*

"Piper? Jasmine?"

Getting up from my bed, I went to find out what happened. I looked in the living room to find the most horrific sight. Piper laid on the sofa covered in blood and organs falling out of her stomach. Jasmine was near the couch but lifeless. She looked up at me but soon her eyes clouded over. She was gone.

"Luna..." I heard a raspy man's voice say.

My heart pounded as I looked around. Out if nowhere, a man grabbed my wrist.

"HELPPP!!!" I screamed for anyone.

"There is no one to help you. No one." He said in an evil tone.

Quickly, I bit his arm as hard as I could.

"BITCH!" He yelled.

I ran out of the house as fast as I possibly could. Looking back, I saw him running after me... He was too fast... He's going to catch me.

"HELP!" I screamed again desperately.

I heard a gunshot and everything went black.

Darkness filled my eyes.
