Today, is Sunday and Simon had actually asked me to come out with him. It's not a date I made that perfectly clear to him that I was not going on a date with him. No it's not because Ethan said, it's because I will not date Simon Minter and get attached like Jamie said then I'll get my heart broken.
"Where you off to?" My dad asked, he was off work today. I don't see my dad all the time, he's always staying late at work and going on business trips.
"I'm going out to meet a friend" I replied grabbing a bottle of water and sticking it in my hand bag
"May I ask who this friend is?" he chuckled
"Simon" I said
"Simon Minter?" He asked, I didn't know if I should answer that or not
"No you're not going out with Simon Minter" He said
"What? It's not a date Dad" I told him
"He's just one of my friends" I said
"I've heard a lot of things about that Minter boy and I don't want you going out with him" He said
"I'm 17, you can't tell me who to go out with and who not to. You let me go out with Tyler Jamie and Ollie what's the difference?" I said getting pissed off
"You're still living under my roof and you're 17, you're not even 18 yet Christine" He said
"I don't want to have this argument, I can be friends with whoever I choose it's my life and you don't get to interfere with that" I said walking out of the front door
"Hey you okay?" Simon asked
"Can we just go" I said walking off and left him to catch up with me
"Chris what's wrong?" He asked jogging up to me
"My stupid dad, telling me I can't go out with you. I started getting pissed off at him and I left before we got into a full blown argument so I'm gonna get an earful when I go home tonight" I told him
"Well I can make it worth your while" He said and without having to look at him I knew he had his signature smirk across his face
"Not the time" I said slowing my pace
"So where are we going?" I asked him
"Nando's" He said licking his lips
"Nice, I could use some nice food" I replied

"Oh this all looks so good" I said eyeing up the menu
"Get whatever you like it's on me" He smiled
"No no, this is not a date" I told him
"I can still pay" He said making a face
"No, it's not a date" I giggled
"Can I not pay for my friend?" He asked
"Okay fine but if we go out again I'm paying" I said
"Okay. Also what do you mean if?" He asked
"If you pissed me off I may not want to go out in public with you again" I chuckled and he nodded
"Should we go order?" He said and I nodded getting up. We ordered the food and got ourselves some drinks from the dispenser.
"So Pristine" Simon said
"That's not my name" I sang
"Correct it's a nickname" He sipped his drink
"What is your favorite color?" He asked setting his drink back down on the table
"Dark purple" I said
"That color suits you, it would bring out your eyes" He smiled
"Look at you being all cute" I teased
"Oh so you think I'm cute" He smirked
"You know how to ruin a moment don't you" I rolled my eyes
"I am cute though, well more like dashingly handsome" He said making me laugh
