Jason and Rachel's wedding was beautiful. We all had fun. Now, we're joining them on their honeymoon. We went on a tour of Europe and are now in a Mediterranean Cruise.
Brandon joins me at the railing.
"So. Learn anything?" He asks. I smile.
"I learned not to travel on my own. I also learned that I should be more careful and control my temper." I say. "That is definitely something you should learn." "Hey!" I say punching his arm. He laughs. "That it?" "And also not to spend money when I don't need too." He laughs and gives me a hug. I hug him back.
I am blessed. I am loved. I learned a lot. Especially because of all the pain I have physically. Thank you God.
This may be a short story, but it sure did help me realize I don't need to please people. Just my creator. And just like the Prodigal Son in the Bible, I learned that my parents and family love me no matter what. And so does God. I'm never alone.
