Part 19

Celeste started to do the incantation...

It was a healing spell and Celeste hurried since she needed the moons power.But the sky was cloudy son only in rare occasion's she was able to heal Amia.

-I don't get it why do you need the moon?Why not the sun?-Zayn asked after Celeste's link with the moon was broken with a cloud 20th time.

-If I heal her without using any other object...just by my powers I'd die.The moon has enormous healing powers while sun has little...the sun is basically used for strength...-Celeste sighed heavily.She was tired but Amia was gradually getting better.

-Then use your powers and clear the night's sky!-

-I'm not that powerful Zayn!No one is...except...-Her last word lingered in the air.

-Except who?-Zayn asked irritated.

-Amia and her sister...didn't ever ask yourself why they come back every 20 years after their deaths?-Celeste said while taking another blanket and putting it around Amia.

-The thought has come to my min but I never dared to look it up...-

-It's because they have the chance to bring back the world peace again...Zayn do you really believe the supernaturals are in peace...by banishing each others to our own continents...The humans were much more friendlier...they didn't have slaves...-

-The hell they didn't!-Zayn said while remembering the life when humans ruled.It was a darker period of his life since he had to hide in the darkness...

-Not legal anyways...They were trying so hard to preserve the world peace...but occasionally they'd make a mistake and start a war...but...-

-I know Celeste...I get what you're trying to say...-

-No you don't...we witches are being punished...we were mother natures guardians and we were supposed to preserve the balance...our ancestors thought that by bringing the supernaturals out they'd help the humans...the planet...but in fact we just made it worse...Humans are dying out...-

-And what does that have to do with Amia?-Zayn asked just as the moon appeard again.He sighed annoyed and watched Celeste continue her spell.

After the moon disappeared again she looked at him.-The fact is that Amia and Kyra are humans that became witches...that makes the mortal...their job is to sacrifice their lives in bringing back the human race to the top and hiding the existence of us...-

Zayn looked at Celeste.-They have to die?-He murmured.

-After I told you that they have to make us hide again you're just worried about them dying...-Celeste smiled sadly.-Anyway I'll help them in their path...it is my rightful thing to do as the leader of the witches.-

Kyra was in her room.She hadn't been sleeping very well.The news of her sister being caught and taken back to the castle spread quickly trough the castle.But she also found out that Zayn took her to his chambers.

Normally she'd only think it was to scold her but other maidens had some pretty wild ideas.

They somehow found out that Zayn hadn't yet slept with her and now they believe that her punishment was going to be very severe...that he'll use her and then just throw her in the dungeons...

Because of that her mind was restless.At midnight Niall appeared.

She bowed to him but continued to walk around her room.

Flashback

It was the night they ran away.Kyra could hear them behind her but she continued running.Soon she encountered a cliff.Niall appeared and as she tried escaping she slipped down the cliff.

Niall caught her and saved her but why falling down she hit hear head.She head internal bleeding as well and nothing could have saved her if she was alone that night.

But Niall used his vampire venom to save her, and although he was absorbed in her blood he knew that she couldn't become a vampire.He moved away just at the right time.

Kyra woke up in the palace a few hours later, and saw Niall next to her.He was sitting on her bed so she moved away from him although her body was hurting.

He looked in pain when she moved away from him like that.

-Why are you looking at me like that?-She whispered.

-I just saved your life and the first thing you do is back away from me...-He sighed.

-You..you saved my life?Why would you do that...after everything I...-She shook her head.-I'm not Bella...-

Niall made a sad smile.-No you're not...Bella was like a fragile angel...she never spoke her mind and she would always obey commands...-

-I guess it's the place you were born right...Bella was a slave from birth just like her sister Jade...you and Amia you were raised to speak up your mind...to fight...I guess that's why I couldn't get you off my mind...-

-You tried to kill my sister!-Kyra hissed.

-It was sort of a revenge to Zayn after killing Bella that day...-

-And here you are still lingering for her...-

-No I stopped thinking about her...the only person in my mind is you...the way you took care for your sister...Jade and Bella were never that close...well they never showed it until the day Bella was killed...Jade...she lost her mind...she want to kill His Majesty but instead...she joined her sister...-

-And you like me because of my bond with Amia...because I'm rude to you...because I talk back to you...-

-Because you don't act like a slave...ever since you were captured you've always been up to something...you never actually did anything without grumbling about it...-

Kyra was speechless...and then she started to laugh.

-What are you laughing for?-Niall asked annoyed but she just shook her head and laughed harder.

Without a warning Niall leaned and kissed her.She stopped laughing and kissed him back.Her arms wrapped around his neck instantly, and he moved his hand to her back.

Her eyes were closed and she enjoyed it more than she should've.

When she opened her mouth to take a breath he deepened their kiss.

The knock on the door made them flinch and Niall moved away from her leaving Kyra that blushed.Her lips were a bit bigger and he had to restrain himself from kissing her again.

He opened the door and a slave bowed to him.-Master Niall the king wishes to see Kyra...-

Niall nodded.-She is still weak so if it's no problem for him to come down and see her...if it is then I shall carry her to him.-

The slave nodded and walked away.

End of flashback.

-Amia?-Kyra asked after some time.

-She's somewhere between death and life...Celeste is doing everything to save her...-Niall explained.

Although Kyra was glad that Amia didn't becaome Zayn's puppet she was now even more afraid about loosing her sister.

Tears welled up in her eyes and Niall rushed to her.He embraced her and she put her head on his shoulder.-She'll be fine...don't cry Kyra...-

-I can't loose her...she's everything I have...-Kyra whispered.
