Princess "Sy" Jones

...

I stared up at the ceiling, my hands through Kilyier's hair as he laid on my stomach. The room was so unusually quiet. I hated it.

I also hated how everything in our lives were crashing apart— the one sport that he was dedicated to turned out to be the worst part of his year.

If it wasn't physically possible to feel someone else's depression than I was crazy because I felt it. And it was heavy.

Kilyier didn't like to admit it because it felt like he was blaming the dead but he'd been traumatized his whole life... all because of his brother.

♫  As a fair warning to everyone listening to this song
I advise you to not hide your feelings
Don't pretend to be okay when you're not okay
Don't pretend to be happy when you're sad
It'll only lead to your misery  ♫

Flashback

"Mama really took you to that dumb ass psychology place." Semaj asked his brother while they played 2k together on the living room tv.

"Yeah. The doctor said I had some Intermittent Explosive Disorder." He informed, chewing on potato chips.

Semaj scoffed, he didn't believe in mental health, he thought it was gay.

"That's some bull shit." He shook his head. "Ain't nothing wrong with you, yous just a real nigga that's all."

But there was actually something wrong with Kilyier— he didn't have a voice in his head that told him right from wrong.

Sometimes he didn't even have control of his body when he was mad. But he couldn't tell him brother that because he'd laugh in his face.

So he just nodded in agreement

"There go them hoes I was talking bout. You bout to get you some today lil bro." Semaj sat up from the couch to open the door.

There was three girls that were at least twice his age. They had on revealing clothes and were staring at him flirtatiously.

"Aww that's your little brother, he's so cute, how old is he?" One girl asked.

"He's 15."
