Clifton's POV.

Xander and I followed Bradley and Leo into one of the soundproofed booths in the Music Wing and shut the door behind us. It was Monday lunchtime and I was wanting to divulge to them who had injured me, and in doing so had probably cost us the game yesterday.

Xander had really surprised me. Although he had often said he didn't care who won he had been genuinely upset that we had lost, or more correctly, why we lost. He had expressed over and over again his detestation of Trevor and his desire to wreak a humiliating justice upon him.

He had continued to place his hands on my injury, twice last night and once again this morning, in an effort to help heal the strained ligaments and muscles in my groin. It was working too as I wasn't feeling any bad twinges at all.

Everyone else, it seemed, had accepted that it was bad luck that I had been injured. Despite Fabian and Franklyn's childish behaviour in not passing the ball to me and Zane, once they had been replaced I felt we could have won.

Losing by a single point after Leo had given them a last minute penalty kick against us was hard.

When I had revealed in the changing room after the game that it wasn't an opposing player that had injured me but one of our own team, it had suddenly gone very quiet. I didn't say I suspected Trevor. I didn't want him to know I had seen the high five he had given Kasper.

My accusation that it was a fellow team member was then met with derision by Trevor, who had launched into a blistering attack, accusing me of making excuses and blaming my sexuality. He had cited that I had been seen in a passionate hug with Xander round the back of the Assembly Hall after Saturday's concert as well as the matter of Xander putting his hands down my shorts in front of everyone.

I had denied I was gay. I had to. I couldn't out us both. Not in that way. If ever I did choose to publicly declare or announce our relationship, it would have to be on our own terms and no-one else's.

Neither of us were ready to be that brave, yet I still felt the need that we should be honest with Leo and Bradley. I was sure they knew anyway and would just accept it. I still needed their help in dealing with Trevor so I had no option but to play them Logan and Niko's revelations

Xander, with some reservations, had agreed and as I played them the recordings, I could see the anger rising in both their eyes.

"Now everything makes sense," Leo said once the recordings had finished. "We've seen Trevor mithering Logan a couple of times but knowing of Logan's reputation just thought it was Trevor being a bastard."

"So there are other guys here still being blackmailed by Trevor then?" Bradley asked. "Do you know who?"

"No!" I answered. "I don't particularly want to know either. I just want to get hold of Trevor's phone and delete all the pictures he has, except those of Logan and Niko, as I want to present them to Jock along with the recordings."
