nini groans as she looks up to see gina walking into her room, putting her phone down with a light smile
"what's up gi?" she asks
"did you get any information out of him?" gina asks with a smirk
nini shakes her head "i'll ask him tomorrow, he's coming to my work for lunch, so i might be able to get him to talk then,"
gina nods with a light smile, making nini raise her eyebrows
"what?"
"nothing," gina says simply
"well obviously it's something, so come on," nini sighs, sitting up properly as gina sits down next to her on the bed
"i just-want to make sure you're being honest that you like lucas." gina tells her
nini knits her eyebrows together and lets out a breath "w-what do you mean?"
"well-i'm the only one who knows that he's not the first guy you've liked like this-"
"gina," nini sighs "that was high school,"
"we both know it was not just high school neens," gina says seriously
"gi, i'm totally over ricky! it was just a stupid teen crush. he's my best friend. plus, he likes maya and she obviously likes him. i would never jeopardize that."
gina nods slowly "okay, if you're sure. i just don't want to see you or anyone else get hurt."
nini nods "don't worry, i promise everything's fine."
gina gives her a small smile before checking the time "oh, i've gotta go. date night with ej,"
"don't do anything i wouldn't do," nini says with a smirk as she opens her laptop
gina gives her a grin "you know that's not gonna happen,"
"okay, tmi," nini groans in disgust, making her friend laugh as she exits the room
nini's shakes her head with a smile as she sighs, looking up at her polaroid photos that were hanging above her headboard; her and maya over the years, her and ricky at all different moments that she remembers vividly in their friendship.
