Chapter 9: Friend or Foe

Y/N's POV

WIFEY

Of course I'm happy for you! Your getting a chance to conquer something big! But I'm just saying to be careful, people can be cruel.

Was she sending some sort of warning? Was something going to happen that I didn't know about? I just ended up texting back saying "okay." and slipping my phone away into my back pocket.

Some time later, the car finally arrived. We hopped inside and were now on our way to the studio once again. I felt a vibration coming from my phone, and I had a feeling on who that was.

Oh boy. Another day was approaching. Quicker than I thought, we've already arrived at the studio. The car ride was pretty silent. Nothing really happened just talking about how our day has been so far. Rob wasn't driving the vehicle, he wasn't even there. It must've been a friend of theirs.

Soon as I entered the two doors guarding the studio, Rob and Aidan were afoot in the lobby. Aidan's eyes set on mine fast and he set a grin across his face as he strolled up to me.

We headed back inside the recording room. As Rob pulled up my edited song on his giant high tech computer. The file said "Y/N'S EDITED COMPLETE".

He opened it. My song started playing. I couldn't believe my ears. Was that me? That's actually my voice? The background music, the drums, the beat and the lyrics I wrote all together sounded like heaven. It was all marvelous. Just pure bliss.

After the song ended, Aidan and Aunty began to clap with a cheer.

"That was terrific dear! Everything in it was amazing! We need to post that!" Aunty said full of excitement. Not holding it back.

"I agree. You'll get tons of views right away!" Aidan added.

"How can it get views that quickly? That's impossible." I said smirking squinting my eyes.

"Y/N, you're friends with a teen celebrity right now. I can literally post this on my Insta and it'll get millions of views and likes within seconds." Aidan fired back.

My eyes glistening. My ears standing. I suddenly got hyper. It was like fireworks were going off in my body.

"Really?! You'd actually do that?" I cried out.

"Of course! I'm apart of this now Y/N. You've got me to help you achieve this. Nothing can stop us now." He said with a soothing voice, and his cute smile.

I couldn't hold it back any longer. I screeched. It was almost embarrassing. I heard a little chuckle come from Aidan. I did the same.

"Haha you two are funny. Aidan be careful on what you say and post okay? I've seen your fan pages and they are scary." Rob exclaimed pointing his finger.

"Always Dad-" Aidan gushed. Before anything else happened. Aidan's phone seemed to be ringing. Aidan grabbed his phone out of his pocket and answered it.

"Hey Trinity. Whats up?" Aidan held the phone against his ear slowly walking to the other side of the room.

I couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. I was slowly starting to get to know this boy and maybe liking him a little more every minute we spend together. Still, I didn't know if he was taken or not. Maybe him and I can.. talk. Create a deep conversation. I want to know him. His personal life.

A few minutes into his call. He hung up and set it back into his pocket.

"Well? What did Trinity have to say?" Rob said standing up from his chair.

"She was saying she got a new guitar and she wanted to hang out and show it off." Aidan said approaching back up to us.

"Does that mean she's stopping by then?"

"Yeah, if that's fine with you guys." Aidan said facing Aunty and I.

"I wouldn't mind sweetheart. Who's this Trinity girl may I ask?" Aunty spoke.

"A close friend of mine. We've been friends for years and we wrote a song together."

Was that their song that they were singing that first day I came into the city? When they were both up on stage performing?

"We actually had a little performance a few days ago, her and I. We sang our song "Miss You"." Aidan spilled.

Again I couldn't help but find a little jealously in myself. Even though I've only known him for about three days tops, I still felt a huge bond between him and I.

"But anyways, I'll post it right now if you'd like." Aidan turned back to me.

"Yes! Tag me!" I yelped.

We all left the room and stood outside enjoying the fresh morning air. As Aidan took his phone out, pulled up Insta and started writing a caption for the post.

"I was thinking about writing this." He gently put his phone in my hand.

Amazing singing by an amazing person. Make sure to check her out you won't regret it.

Above the caption was a two minute video of my song.

"Is that good enough?" He spoke looking back up at me.

"It's perfect." I hit post. It's posted.

Not even a minute later, the post already had tons and tons of views with likes as the comments were filling. I kept getting Insta notifications quicker and quicker. We took a glance at the comments

I couldn't stop starting at all the comments. Some were sweet some were rude. At this point who cares? I'm getting a ton of attention. All because of him. This was perfect.

He was perfect.
