"Davi! Hijo!" I yelled to my 2 years old son. Clearly he didn't hear me, otherwise he would've came running.

I sighed and turned the stove that was cooking bacon and sausages to low. I dusted my hands clean and walked towards the living room.

There I saw my cutie playing with his car toys. I smiled and shook my head. Him and his cars.

Just like his dad. His dad. His lying, asshole of a dad. He doesn't even deserve that title after what he did. I shook my head clearing the negative thoughts.

I walked over to my son and picked him up to his surprise. He started giggling and shrieking. I gave him a big kiss on the cheek and hugged him.

"Hi baby!" I said to him.

"No mamá! I big!" He yelled at me and then pouted showing me that he was angry.

I started laughing. This boy was already becoming embarrassed of his own mother.

"But Davi!" I said pouting at him.

His face went from pouting to a sorry face. He then leaned in and gave me a kiss. "Sorry mummy, te quiero!" He said.

I laughed and gave him a kiss. "Te quiero hijo." I started walking with him in my arms to the kitchen. "Alright, Davi, I'll make you a deal! If you finish your breakfast, all by yourself, we'll do something fun!" I said placing him on one of the high chair by the dining table.

When I said that, his eyes lit up. I'm guessing we have a deal. "Deal!" He said excited.

I laughed and brought out the bowl of cereal and a side bowl of fruit with orange juice for Davi. I placed that in front of him and gave him a spoon For me, I brought out a plate with eggs, bacon and sausages with coffee. I placed that in a place beside him and sat in the chair beside him.

Davi and I started eating. I would grab a napkin here and there wiping his face do that it wouldn't be messy. It was a peaceful morning until my phone rang. I swallowed the food in my mouth and looked at the caller ID of my phone. My manager and best friend, Marissa was calling.

"Hello?" I said.

"Good morning Abigail." She said.

"Good morning. What's up?" I asked

"Here's the thing, I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?" She asked.

I sighed and said, "I don't care."

"Alright well the good news is that you have been approached by Victoria's Secret and have been asked to be an angel!" She said happily.

"Oh my goodness! That's amazing!" I said smiled wide.

"Yes it is amazing!" Marissa replied. "Now here's the bad news."

"Go on." I said.

"So since you are half Spanish, they found that as a standout quality, which is perfectly fine. However, they found out who your brother is, which isn't that hard because both of you are well known. So because of your brother and your Spanish origin, they want you to represent Victoria's Secret in Spain. Barcelona to be exact." She said slowly.

My brother, Lionel Messi.

My smile turned into a frown. The last thing I wanted was to be closer to him.

"Marissa, you know I can't." I said to her.

"Abby, I know that. But this is such a wonderful opportunity. Think about it. This can make you gain the attention of many other companies. This would be great for you and Davi." She said.

"But he's there." I said. Marissa was the only friend I had here after I moved to Canada 3 years ago. She knew about everything that I went through.

"Honey, I'm not asking you to live with him. Barcelona is such a big city. It's not like you are going to see him everyday." She said.

"But you know Leo. He will want me at his games supporting him. They play on the same team!" I said slightly angry.

"Talk to Leo. You don't have to give an answer until tomorrow morning." She said to me.

"Alright. Thanks Mari." I said.

"Talk to you soon. Give Davi a kiss from me. Bye!" She said.

"Bye." I said.

I hung up and just started thinking. This was such a wonderful opportunity. It was Victoria's Secret for crying out loud! This would be so good for my baby and I.

I didn't tell him about him. I guess that was one of my main fears of going. The other being seeing him again after 3 years. But I have my reasons for not telling him.

"Mamá, you not happy?" Davi said breaking me from my thoughts.

I looked at my 2 year old who was frowning.

I smiled and stood up. I went to him and picked him up in my arms and hugged him.

"Davi, when mamá is with you, she's always happy. Ok?" I said rubbing his back.

He buried his head in my neck and kissed me. "Love you." He said.

I smiled. This little boy was my life and much more if that's even possible. I thank god everyday for giving me such a wonderful son. He was truely a blessing. I don't know what I would do without him.

I guess that was another fear that I had. What if he tried to take him away from me?

I shook my head free of those thoughts and gave him a kiss.

"How about you watch tv while I clean up?" I cooed.

"Ok." He said.

I smiled and carried him to the living room. I put him down on the couch and put on Disney channel.

"I'll be right back. And when I'm back, we can go get you in the shower." I smiled.

I went back to the kitchen
