Thank you for everything you do

Our arrival

Ash with his friends Clemont, Serena and Bonnie have been travelling around the Kalos region for some time now. Ash had gathered almost all of his badges but decided to postpone his last gym badge for Serena's sake. She was having her master class showcase at Gloire city and he wanted her to do her thing first. They had been travelling to the city for a few days now and had finally arrived.

"I cant wait to see you perform Serena!" exclaimed Bonnie with excitement

"You have been practicing very hard for this" Clemont said admiring Serena's efforts

"Yea, you are gonna do the best performance ever and you'll beat Aria!" Ash shouted cheering for Serena

"Pika Pika!" exclaimed the boy's Pikachu

"Thank you for cheering for me guys..." Serena said giggling a little and with a small blush looking at Ash who was smiling brightly at her

"C'mon we've got to get going" said Clemont looking at his friends

The four of them then arrive at a pokecenter while they wait for Serena's showcase.

"So Serena, are you nervous?" asked Ash separating her from Clemont and Bonnie.

"A little I guess... This is the final step for my dream so..."

"Well don't worry because I will be cheering for you no matter what" Ash said with a large grin on his face.

"Thank you Ash... That means a lot to me..." Serena said with a cute smile.

"C'mon lets go to our room" Ash said as he took Serena's hand which made her blush

The two of them start walking down the hallway and start nearing their room. When they got there they set everything up and Serena stayed in the room a little longer than the others.

"Hey Serena we are gonna be waiting for you outside" said Clemont as he and his sister left the room followed closely by Ash who then looks back at Serena

"Serena are you coming?" Ash asked as he peeked inside the room

"Yeah I'll be with you guys in a second" Serena answered smiling back at him

After a few minutes Serena then left the room to find Ash waiting for her outside. She was confused of why he was out there alone and why not even Pikachu was with him

"Hey Ash" Serena said in a quiet tone

"Hey..." 

"Where did Clemont and Bonnie go?" Serena asked still confused

"They left for a snack and said they will be back later in the day" 

"And wait where's Pikachu?" Serena asked even more confused of why he wasnt with Ash

"Oh he abandoned me to go with them... I guess he was hungry" Ash explained scratching the back of his head

"Ok... but why not go with them?" Serena asked giggling a little bit

"Because I felt like being with you" Ash answered casually

"Oh ok... So what are you gonna do now?" Serena said stuttering a little and having a faint blush but then she brought herself back to normal

"I don't know... whatever you want my queen" Ash said while bowing for a second and laughing afterwards

This made Serena's heart beat faster and she felt a blush slowly appear on her face again

"Serena?" Ash said with a curious expression on his face

"Yes Ash?" Serena mumbled trying to make her blush disappear

"Nothing its just that you spaced out for a bit and why is your face red?" Ash asked oblivious to her feelings

"I-Its nothing" Serena stuttered

"Ok" Ash said ignoring Serena's weird attitude 

"So... I wanted to check a shop to see if I can find one last thing before the showcase" Serena suddenly spoke trying to erase the weirdly awkward atmosphere that had surfaced

"Alright then! I'll go with you" Ash exclaimed while smiling at her and taking her hand

Serena started to blush even harder at the fact that Ash was now holding her hand. The two of them now left the pokecenter and were headed towards the bigger buildings and shops of Gloire city. They walked and Ash still had not noticed Serena's blush from holding her hand. Serena was going crazy in her thoughts since she felt as if they were in a date again. She was happy to be with Ash but then remembered her showcase and began to get nervous. Serena was so deep into her thoughts that she had not noticed Ash looking at her

"You look really nervous" said Ash with a serious expression

"I'm just really scared... what if I mess up and I fail" Serena mumbled with nervousness in her voice

"Don't worry about that stuff Serena" Ash said trying to make her feel better

"I know you will do great!" Ash said looking away from her

"And to me... you are already the Kalos queen" Ash then looked at her with his grin

"Thank you Ash" Serena said with a cute smile and was finally calming down

"Yay your smile is back" Ash said chuckling trying to light up the mood

They both looked at each other for a few seconds in silence

"Umm we should go get what you wanted" Ash said with a small amount of nervousness

Serena noticed it and let out a little giggle at his reaction

"Ok lets go in there" Serena said with a big smile as she pointed to a store she took an interest in

So that was the first chapter to this little story I am writing! Its kinda fun making stories like this and Ima update this as much as I can so until then this is goodbye
