Hanging out

Ash and Serena went inside the store and looked at all of the rows of dresses that made Serena smile with wonder.

"Its even better than I thought" said Serena with a large smile in her face

"Yeah I think this is the biggest store I've ever been on"

"C'mon what I want is over here" Serena said as she ran to the jewelry section

The two of them walked to the left side of the store where Serena got a few things like earrings and necklaces which she wanted to put on her pokémon for her big performance the next day.

"Ok I got what I needed but I kinda want to try a few of these dresses if you don't mind" Serena said with a cute smile to convince Ash to let her try dresses

"Yea sure go ahead and have fun" Ash said not caring since Serena was so happy

Serena then started running around the store looking for a few dresses that she took an interest on and then turned to look at Ash which she then gave a wink and a smile.

"I'm gonna try these on" Serena told Ash with excitement in her voice

"Ok sure" Ash said as he sat down in front of the dressing rooms

A few minutes later Serena came out with a cute red dress

"Hey Ash what do you think?" Serena asked as she did a spin and winked at Ash

Ash looked at her with a blank expression because he wasn't expecting her to look like that

"Ash you there?" Serena asked a little nervously

"You look... incredible" Ash admired

"Th-hank yo-u" Serena stuttered with a blush in her face

"I think this is my favorite one out of all of the ones I picked so I wanted to show it to you"

"I think it looks really good on you" Ash said with a glint in his eyes

The two looked at each others eyes again until they both let out a smile and Serena walked back to the changing room.

'She looked so pretty' Ash thought to himself

Serena walked out a few minutes later with her normal attire 

"I'm gonna buy it" Serena said looking at Ash

"No don't worry Ill buy it for you"

"But Ash you don't need to-"

"No its fine, Ill do it"

They walked to the counter and Ash paid for Serena's things

"Thank you Ash, that's very nice of you"

"Well I wanted to pay you back for allowing me to spend the day with you"

"Oh Ash"

They both smiled and let out a little laugh

"So where do we go now?" Ash asked

"I don't know I already got what I was looking for" Serena said looking at the things Ash purchased for her

"We could get an ice cream if you want one!" Ash exclaimed

"Sure"

The two approach the ice cream stand and asked for two cones which Serena insisted on paying because Ash had done so much already. They then walked to a park and sat on a bench.

"Serena you've got to try this its incredible"

The boy gave his cone to Serena 

"This is so good!" Serena exclaimed with joy

"Never knew Kalos had ice cream this good" Ash said taking the cone back 

Serena giggled at the boy's words

"So Ash I was wondering... why did you want to hang out with me instead of just training or something"

"Well I don't know... I just think you are very fun to be around and I like being next to you"

Serena started to blush and cover her face but Ash noticed her 

"Serena is there something wrong?" Ash asked worrying that he said something bad

"It's nothing" Serena clarified 

"Are you sure because you only seem to go red around me" Ash said as he began to laugh

"Huh" Serena exclaimed thinking he knew about her crush

"Its kinda funny... in a cute way though" Ash said a little more seriously 

Serena started blushing even more and she had to look away which made Ash let out a little laugh

"So you are really gonna get like that every time I say something about you" Ash said smiling

"Sorry, I just cant help it" Serena told Ash looking down because of her embarrassment

"Its cute so don't be sorry" Ash said as he began to finish his ice cream

"Well its just I wouldn't expect getting complemented by someone so nice and that I admire" Serena said finally looking at Ash

"Thank you" Ash said with a bit of nervousness

"Look who's getting nervous..." Serena said with a teasing tone

"Oh c'mon"

They both laughed together and started to walk around the park after they finished their ice cream.

"Can I tell you something?" Serena suddenly asked

"Yeah Serena what's up" Ash said 

"Well I just wanted to say thank you for you deciding to be with me" Serena mumbled nervously

"Its nothing, I love spending time with you too" Ash said smiling

"I was feeling really nervous earlier but you helped me feel better so thank you" Serena told Ash more clearly and with a warm smile

Ash then unexpectedly pulls her hand and gives her a small hug

"Well that's what best friends do right?" Ash said grinning after parting

"I guess" Serena whispered giving Ash a warm smile

The two then shared another hug and smiled at each other liking the closeness between the two of them

That's chapter 2  for you. Its more of a date chapter and I tried fitting in as many amour moments as I could. I'm still very new to this writing thing but its kinda fun ngl so I'm excited to do chapter 3 soon and Ill see how long I do this book but it will be kinda short like the other one. I will try to make it a long as I can and I already have a few ideas so until then, goodbye
