Towards Snowbelle!

Ash and his friends stayed at the pokecenter for the night and were about to leave for Snowbelle city so that Ash could challenge his 8th gym and get the last badge he needs for the Kalos league.

"To the eighth gym!" Ash shouted with energy running in front of the others and Gary running right next to him

"Ash! Gary!" Serena shouted

"Wait for us!" Bonnie shouted running with Serena with Clemont trying to catch up with them

"I hate running" Clemont said panting

"Oh don't be a baby and run brother!" Bonnie snapped back at him

"Not fair" Clemont sighed

Serena and Bonnie were holding back laughter at seeing Clemont struggle and complain. They all started slowing down because they grew tired of hearing Clemont crying for mercy in the back. Ash and Gary led the group and were walking a little more ahead than usual. Serena looked at Ash just being happy and excited for the league and she felt happy to see him that way. She began to think of how Ash helped her and how he is close to achieving something that would get him closer to becoming a pokémon master.

"They are like brothers aren't they" Bonnie said suddenly snapping Serena out of her thoughts

"I mean they have known each other for a long time and have grown to be strong" Clemont said from behind them

Serena kept looking forwards to see the boy of her dreams marching down with a big smile and his Pikachu on his shoulder with the same exact look of excitement

"He is happy and that's what matters most" Serena said in a lower tone so that  she wouldn't risk Ash hearing her

"Yea especially to you right?" Bonnie whispered to Serena tapping on her shoulder making her look at Bonnie who had a teasing grin

Serena looked forwards to Ash again seeing him and Gary joke around and having a fun time. She loved seeing Ash smile. Ash would always inspire her to do her best and when he was happy, she couldn't help but feel happy too. She promised to herself right then and there that she would do her best to make him happy and would never give up on him.

"Yes Bonnie it's very important to me" Serena whispered to Bonnie with a smile 

Ash and Gary were walking in front of the group and Ash turned around to notice Serena smiling but looked back to the front before she would realize he was looking at her

"Who you looking at Ashy-boy?"

"Huh!" Ash said startled by Gary 

"Or should I call you like she does Ashy" Gary whispered laughing at the nickname that Ash got because of him

"Stop man only one person can call me like that" Ash snapped back at him angrily but quietly so that the others wouldn't hear

"Hey I'm helping you out but you've got to let me have some fun right?" Gary said with a smug face

Ash scoffed at Gary and looked away from him with Pikachu just holding back laughter

"Oh you too buddy?" Ash turned to Pikachu with an annoyed look

"What can I say Pikachu likes to have fun and has probably seen you two act awkwardly towards each other for months" Gary said chuckling

"Unbelievable you two" Ash whispered with an annoyed expression

"Hey Ash weren't you the one who gave her a nickname first?" Gary whispered to Ash wanting to annoyingly tease him a little more

"Hey now that was an accident" Ash said while getting nervous
