I... did it?

"Now release it Greninja!" Ash yelled as then Greninja threw the golden shuriken in its hand and it approached Charizard with such great speeds that it was like a blur

Alain knew he couldn't overpower that shuriken since Sawyer tried and failed so he tried something else "Charizard dodge!"

Charizard tried to fly away but the shuriken hit its back before it could even react causing a giant explosion and a lot of steam to form around Charizard. When everything became clear and the steam went away, a fainted Charizard appeared now having returned to its normal form. Ash had won the Kalos League and the audience went wild.

Ash looked down to Pikachu not able to say anything. He had finally won after so many tries and he was now the Kalos League champion. Pikachu jumped on his shoulder and hugged him being happy for his trainer. They had been together from the start and went through many things together. Defeat, Victory, moments of hardship, moments of strength... they all lead to this victory. And them finally achieving it left them speechless. Ash walked over to Greninja and hugged him tightly thanking his pokémon for lending him the strength he needed to win in the end. Ash was really happy and could not believe that he achieved his first ever milestone. But he still celebrated with his pokémon because he worked hard for this moment

"Ash did it!" Bonnie exclaimed excitedly standing from her chair

"He won!" Clemont said standing from his chair as well

Gary was speechless but was happy that his friend made it to his first big victory. He cheered for Ash from his chair happy that he was able to succeed on the dream they both used to share. Serena on the other hand was crying from all the joy. She was having her biggest smile with tears coming down as she was really happy that Ash actually won. Alain went to his Charizard and returned it to its pokeball while being thankful of all the experiences they both shared as then he saw Ash getting closer. They both looked at each other and Ash extended his hand in respect

"That was quite the fun battle Alain" Ash said extending his hand as Greninja stood next to him and Pikachu stayed on his shoulder

Alain stood up and shook Ash's hand

"That was a good battle Ash" Alain said in a serious but respectful tone

They shook hands until Alain walked away and Ash walked to the main stage where he would be awarded his champion trophy. Then a lady with a microphone walked towards Ash so that he could say a few words

"Hey Ash Ketchum can you please give us a few words" The lady said as she passed the microphone to Ash

"Well I want to say thank you... I want to say thank you to all my pokémon that have been with me and believed that I would win one day. You all brought me memories that I will never forget and given me the adventure of a lifetime. Secondly, I want to thank my friends who followed me in my journey..."

The gang got really happy and smiled at Ash as they were listening to what he was going to say about them and his past companions

"I have my rivals who always helped me stay focused and become a better trainer! I have my friends Brock and Misty who guided me in my beginnings and without them I don't think I would have made it out of Kanto. May, Max and Dawn who felt like the dearest of friends and I developed great bonds with that I will never forget. Iris and Cilan who helped me out in Unova and I loved being with two great people who have great ambition for their dreams. Clemont and Bonnie who would always make me laugh and made me feel like part of their family! And finally Serena who was always there for me when I needed her and I wouldn't have made it here without her help at my most crucial moments" Ash said holding back some tears
