Thank you for everything you do

Its not over yet...

Greninja had been running away from the pokecenter for a while trying to get away. He felt the same as his trainer did and was feeling weak. He ran until he began to feel a little bit of his connection with Ash and felt his pain. Greninja ran and would not stop until he would find Ash with an injured Serena. Greninja saw Ash beginning to fall unconscious so he used cut on the tree pinning Serena's legs and carried the two teens to a cave.

"What happened..." Ash mumbled as he began to wake up seeing his pokémon standing right in front of him

"Greninja!" Ash exclaimed

"Ninja" Greninja responded

"Where is Serena is she safe?" Ash asked

Greninja then pointed to a sleeping Serena that was resting on top of a rock and Greninja had been taking care of her

"You saved us both... thank you so much Greninja" Ash said while putting his hand over Serena's head checking on her

Serena was fine but they needed to get her leg treated. The leg didn't look broken but it definitely demanded for medical help. They needed to get Serena back to the pokecenter but they couldn't leave with the harsh weather so they had to wait.

"Everything will be ok Serena... We will keep you safe" Ash whispered while turning to Greninja who was looking at him with a look of understanding

Ash sat down beside where Serena was resting and put her head on his lap to give her a more comfortable place for her head. He put his hand on her trying to keep her warm and was doing his best to treat her while she was unconscious

"Greninja..." Ash said turning to his first friend in Kalos

Greninja looked to him with a look of confusion

"Thank you for keeping us safe and protecting her... she is very important to me and you saved her from something bad so... thank you" Ash told Greninja

They both stared to the cave entrance for a while seeing the blizzard continue

"Hey I wanted to say I am sorry for what happened at the gym. We were out of sync and we lost"

Greninja turned to his trainer confused as it didn't think it was his trainers fault

"But it is ok that we didn't win because we are not giving up and we are going to win next time right Greninja?"

"Gren" Greninja responded with his fist up with Ash's which made them bond and Greninja became his full Ash Greninja form

"We are gonna get stronger and stronger right Greninja?" Ash asked as he extended his arm out for Greninja to grab it and they could become friends again

Greninja walked towards Ash and shook his hand as they kept their bonded form. They had their moment of friendship but then heard pokémon in the outside crying for help

"Hey Greninja lets help as many pokémon as possible" Ash told Greninja as his pokémon left the cave and began bringing all the small defenseless pokémon inside.

After 20 minutes of gathering pokémon, Ash Greninja returned to see Ash with all the pokemon around him and Serena.

"Gren" Greninja said as he entered the cave after clearing the area and making it safe for all the pokémon

Ash and Greninja had kept the bond up the entire time and were acting as one seeing what the other was seeing.

"Good work Greninja" Ash said as he welcomed his friend inside the cave and broke the bond with him making Greninja go back to normal
