On our way back

*I'm not gonna write much for this one since I'm honestly kinda out of transition chapter ideas but yea just a short chapter for amour before I skip to the league and then its bye bye Kalos lol

The group had left Snowbelle and where on their way to the Lumiose conference so that Ash could participate on the Kalos League. They had been travelling for 2 days and not much had changed. The only important thing that happened was that Ash and Serena had told Bonnie about their relationship.

~~ 2 days ago ~~

"Hey Bonnie we have to tell you something" Serena said while tapping on Bonnie's shoulder from behind

"What is it?" Bonnie asked

"Well Sere and I are..."

"Together" Serena finished

"Oh cool... wait what was that?"

"We are dating" Serena responded

"WHAT?!" Bonnie scram

"Yea..." Ash mumbled scratching the back of his head

"OH MY GOD IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU TWO FINALLY!" Bonnie shouted as she then hugged Ash and Serena tightly and they all laughed

"Let's go tell Clemont and Gary!" Bonnie said breaking the hug

"They already know... Gary knew since we got together a week ago" Ash explained

"Huh? And why was I last?" Bonnie asked a little sad

"We just wanted to be a couple as a secret for a little bit but we sucked at keeping it a secret" Serena said putting her hand on Bonnie's shoulder

"It's ok but..." Bonnie said a little quietly

"How has Ash treated you so far?" Bonnie whispered to Serena's ear which made her blush furiously but she managed to calm down

"He is really romantic so... I love having him as my boyfriend..." Serena whispered to Bonnie trying to hold her composure and not Blushing too hard

Ash just stood there confused no knowing what was going on as he saw Bonnie laughing and Serena embarrassed.

"What are you guys talking about?" Ash asked putting his hand on Serena's shoulder

"NOTHING!" Serena responded with a high pitch on her voice

Bonnie giggled at the couple and they all went back with Gary and Clemont

 ~~ Back to the present ~~

The gang was relaxing at a pond in the afternoon and were close to Lumiose city. Ash had been training non-stop with Gary and Clemont training every single pokémon every day. They decided they should relax at this pond since they had been working to their limits. Ash, Gary and Bonnie were swimming around while Clemont and Serena stayed back and only putting their feet in.

"Go!" Bonnie shouted as she commanded for Blastoise to move forwards while riding on his back with Dedenne and Squishy

"Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed swimming from behind them

Ash and Gary were talking in one side of the pool while keeping an eye on Bonnie just in case she fell from Blastoise but Ash was concentrated looking at someone else

"Wow Ashy-boy you haven't stopped looking at her"

"I know its just that... I cant stop"

They both looked over to Serena

"I just cant put it into words" Ash said still looking at her and how she moves and smiles

"I know its complicated Ash but hey you got the girl in the end!" 

Ash and Gary looked at Serena and Gary was beginning to understand why they bonded so well.

"You love Serena a lot right?" Gary asked

"Yes... although it is weird to say those words I do feel that way"

They were looking at Serena until she turned to them and waved at them which made Ash and Gary immediately look away embarrassed. Serena giggled and blushed a little at the thought that Ash was probably looking at her for quite the while. She stood up and walked over to them

"She caught us dude what do we do?" Gary asked laughing 

"Dammit lets just play it cool"

"Hey guys is there something wrong?" Serena asked holding back her laughter 

"No we are just sitting over here... right Gary?" Ash said as he turned where Gary was but he realized that Gary swam away and left him alone

'Damn you Gary Oak' Ash thought to himself angry at his friend

Serena sat down next to Ash and took his hand

"Hey Ashy"

"Hey Sere"

"Are you enjoying your little break?" Serena asked playing with Ash's hair

"Yeah and even more with you here!"

"That's very cute Ashy"

Ash looked over to Serena and saw her smiling down at him which made him feel good.

"You are very pretty Sere and I love you"

"I love you too Ash and you make me the happiest I've ever been"

Serena then kissed Ash's forehead and began to walk away back with everyone else still blushing a little bit. Ash was feeling very happy and was now even more psyched for the league.

'I'm going to do my best to win this league'

Ash then looked over to his pokémon and saw the same spark of determination in their eyes that he had

'We are going to do well... I know it' Ash thought clenching his fist in determination

So yea a short chapter with not much going on. I just wanted a chapter before we go to the league stuff and once the whole pokémon thing is over we go for the amour things and then I think we are getting close to the ending. Wow this series was a surprise in so many levels I cant even believe it. This is my first actual fanfic and it was fun writing this as my little summer project. Sorry I couldn't update yesterday and updates are gonna be a little less frequent but just know I still have my determination to finish this set in high so yea. Until then, goodbye!
