If you wanna leave then you can just go...

Dani POV - Around 6:00 pm

I was sitting in the living room with Pop watching tv as he read the newspaper.

Do people still read those?

Demi hasn't been home and I'm pretty sure she's still at Jordan's. Probably fucking...

There was a knock at the door making me get up and answer it.

"Who are you expecting?" Pop asked me.

"Nobody. It's probably Demi."

I opened the door and Von was standing there. Why is he here?

"Why you ain't answer your phone?" he asked me, stepping inside.

"It's upstairs. What you need?"

"Wassup Mr Baker," he greeted Pop.

"Oh, are you my granddaughters new fling?" he smirked, making Von chuckle.

"We're just friends Pop. Barely friends," I mumbled the last part.

"Well, y'all go on somewhere so I can read," he said.

Imma rip up that damn newspaper...

We went upstairs and into my room.

"Now why are you here?"

"Get dressed," he demanded, "we're going to a party."

"A party? On a Sunday? Who has a party on a Sunday?"

"It's summertime. Now go put on a swimsuit. Preferably a two piece," he said, plopping down on my bed.

"What if I don't wanna go?"

"Well your going because Asian is going to be there and we got a mission to accomplish."

I rolled my eyes and got out of the bed. I went in my closet and got out an outfit before going into the bathroom and changing.

I came back and showed him my outfit for approval. I know he's about to say something slick.

"Nigga what is that?" he mugged.

"It's my outfit. I have on a swimsuit under here."

I was wearing some jeans and a t shirt with some air Force ones. I'm not a girly girl alright?

"Yeah that's not gon work. You dressed like me," he said, getting up.

"No I'm not. Your pants are wayyy tighter than mines," I laughed.

He ignored me and started going through my drawers. The disrespect...

"Alright put on these shorts," he said, holding up a pair of Jean shorts, "and take off the shirt and just show your bikini."

I snatched the shorts out of his hands and rolled my eyes going back to the bathroom.

I changed again and came back out.

"See, you got a nice little body," he smiled.

"What happened to "put those itty bitty titties up," I mocked him from yesterday.

"Leave the past in the past. Come on let's go."

We walked back downstairs and headed towards the front door.

"Bye Pop, I'll be back later."

He waved bye as we left out and got in the car.

Von started the car and pulled out of my driveway.
