Halle POV

"Halleeee" Chloe said peeking her head through my bedroom door.

"Yeah?" I said as I was doing my hair.

"I'm heading out, I'll be with Sergio for a few hours" She said.

"Oh okay, have fun!" I said.

"Alright, I'll call you when I'm on my way home" She said.

"Alrighty, love you" I said.

"I love you more!" Chloe said before she left out the room, and as I was tying my hair so my dreads could lay, I looked at the envelope Roddy gave me the other night.

And I smiled a little. Definitely gonna read it now.

I grabbed the envelope and walked to my bed, sitting on the edge of it as I opened it, pulling the piece of paper out.

I unfolded it and at the top it said more than a trend, and I rose my eyebrows.

"Mmm" I mumbled, then I started reading it.

I blushed, before I slowly folded it back up and back into the envelope. Then I put it in my dresser, smiling to myself.

He's so sweet to me.

I pulled out my phone and went to my messages with him, and sent him a quick text.

Me: Maybe after this life we could be more than a trend.. right? 💕

And as soon as I was about to put my phone down, it buzzed and it was him responding to me.

I smiled.
