January 04, 1998 Orlando, Florida
VEDAs POV

"I told you I wouldn't kill you" Nick jokes as he offers me a pizza, I get one slice and take a bite out of it as I respond "Well you haven't killed me yet" I shrugged as I emphasized on the yet "I've no idea what the future holds" I continue as Nick just goes to sit on my right.

"I promise you, you don't need to doubt me and my actions" Nick reassures "doesn't change the fact you're a stranger and I still don't know if you're telling the truth or not, now does it?" I replied, I was a little skeptical of the guy still but not entirely, I've warmed up to him I guess..

"I guess it doesn't but you've come this far I don't think I've done anything questionable.. aside from my flirty responses maybe, but I've done nothing else too bad" He shrugs.

"You've got a point" I point at him with my index finger "but I've got trust issues" I bite into my pizza again "Really? I couldn't tell" Nick acts extremely surprised, I roll my eyes at this and bite one last bite into my pizza and throw the crust at him.

"Ok that was incredibly unnecessary and unprofessional" He argues his jaw dropped making me giggle, as I giggle I see Nick smile a little more making butterflies erupt in my stomach.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you, the other guys are coming over tomorrow. I mean like my bandmates." Nick spoke "Oh, I could just get a hotel" I shrug, I would think Nick and his bandmates would want personal and private space instead of having some random bitch with them "I mean its no worries really, I've still got my card I can pay for myself"

"NO!" Nick shouts, startling me "dang shawty, you've got one loud voice" I scratch my ear as I feel it go deaf for a while "sorry, I meant no." He corrects in a more soft tone. "I enjoy your company so.. an- and I'm sure the guys will like you too" He reassures as he goes to hold my hand making me blush ferociously.

"awww V is blushing" He giggles I just roll my eyes but smile at the cute laugh he has coming out of his mouth "Yea yea whatever" I nudged him a little too hard "Hey! That hurt!" Nick exclaims as he holds his side where I nudged him.

"Whoops" I put a hand over my mouth laughing a little "Not funny" he frowns as he crosses his arms facing away from me "Come on stop acting like a child, I'm sorry" I hug him from behind, I've met this guy only today but I was extremely comfortable around him it was really comforting honestly especially with my confusing and scary situation, you know the time traveling.

Nick doesn't answer still faced away from me, frowning and arms crossed "please forgive me" I hug him tighter laughing lightly as I did so "only 'cause you're too pretty to not forgive" He sighs giving in.

"Awww someone has a crush on me!" I teased sticking my tongue out as I pulled away from the hug and Nick finally faces me again "Whatever helps you sleep well at night princess" He shakes his head at my teasing with a little smirk played on his face.

I hated to admit it but his snarky flirty remarks and pet names made me weak in the knees, I bet if I were standing right now I'd fall from his statement right then and there.

"Hey do you know if there's an ATM anywhere near here?" I asked, I decided I'd also withdraw some money not wanting to rely on Nick fully, he was already giving me a place to stay and that was a big enough help.

"I'll pay, what do you need?" He offers as he gets his wallet "Nick. No." I sternly remarked "You've helped enough with letting me stay here, I'll buy my own stuff alright? Plus I don't need anything in particular" I shrugged.
