"Yeah, but you know, I get why Curse User Group K would be after him," Riki commented, popping open a can of soda before handing it to Haru. "But why would this Star Religious Group want to kill him?"

The two walked side by side as they made their way to the designated location, which happened to be close to the school. Riki observed as Haru took a sip of the soda, then offered him the drink before fussing with her hair. "They see him as the pure form of Taehyun-sama."

"Allowing the Star Plasma Vessel, in their minds, an impurity to blend into him is unforgivable," Riki heard her say as they continued talking through their phones after parting ways.

"The Star Religious Group is an organization of non-sorcerers. I don't think we need to pay them any mind," Haru reasoned as she listened to Riki's breathing on the other end. "The ones to be wary of are K."

Riki attempted to search his memories, trying to remember if they had ever encountered these groups before. "Well, I'm sure it'll be fine. We're the strongest, after all," he chuckled. "That's why Taehyun-sama asked for us specifically, right?"

Haru sighed at Riki's confidence. "You know, Nishimura, I've been wanting to say this for a while, but you should stop being so full of yourself."

"Huh?!"

The elevator chimed, signaling Haru's arrival on the designated floor. "Especially when you're addressing your superiors. We might end up meeting Taehyun-sama, after all," she pointed out. "You should be more polite and humble. It would also scare your juniors less."

Present Riki was momentarily replaced by his younger self as he laughed. "Hah! Screw that!"

"Come on, Nishimura," she implored softly as she navigated the narrow hotel corridors. "Whatever. I'll bring it up again later." Haru hung up the phone upon reaching the room where the Star Plasma Vessel was supposed to be and rang the doorbell.

"Coming!" a voice exclaimed, though it sounded disoriented, almost like a prerecorded response.

The room suddenly exploded, and Riki, who had stayed outside a short distance from the building, hastily set down his phone and turned to look back. "Hey, are you okay?"

Haru, who had anticipated the danger, flicked her hair back as she summoned a curse to protect herself. "I am, at least," she replied into her phone.

"Do you think we'll be blamed if the boy dies from that?" Riki questioned curiously through the device as Haru surveyed her surroundings. "Oh, wait, what the hell is that?"

Riki's gaze caught a falling figure from the building, hurtling toward the ground at a perilous speed. Haru acted swiftly, summoning two curses to shatter the glass as she leaped after the vessel.

As black smoke swirled around her hands, she summoned another curse to serve as their mode of transportation and caught the unconscious boy. Together, they ascended into the sky, leaving the leader of Curse User Group K staring at them in disbelief and shock.

"Would you please stop making us stand out? We just got chewed out for that this morning." Haru descended to the ground, still holding the Star Plasma Vessel. His vibrant pink hair tousled around his face, lips puckered in a pout, and eyes sealed shut.

"Those uniforms. You're sorcerers from Jujutsu High, right?" the K group's leader shouted after them, causing Haru to glance back. "Hand over the kid. Or I'll kill you."

Haru smirked at the threat. "Can't hear you," she taunted. "Come closer and talk."

Meanwhile, Riki stood firmly on the ground, his eyes fixed on the spectacle unfolding before him. He watched in awe as Haru gracefully navigated through the air, flipping and twirling alongside the curse, her laughter carried away by the wind as she continued to taunt their adversary.

"Barely safe," he scoffed, his attention turning to the several swords and weapons now aimed directly at him.

As if on cue, a voice broke through the tension, clapping slowly as it echoed through the air. Riki's gaze shifted to the masked figure who had appeared, his face concealed by a mask but his eyes filled with admiration as they remained fixed on the blonde boy. "You're Nishimura Riki, right? You're famous."

With an air of confidence, the man continued, "I hear you're strong. Let me find out if the rumors are true."

Riki couldn't help but chuckle, his fingers lightly playing with the suspended swords and weapons. "I'm down for that, but let's set some rules."

"Rules?" the man questioned, uncertainty flickering in his eyes.

Undeterred, Riki began to advance toward the man, causing the weapons in the air to retreat and drift away from him. "I don't want to get yelled at for going overboard," he explained casually, his magical blue eyes glistening beneath the dark shades. "So here's our rule: if you cry and apologize, I won't kill you. That's our deal!"

The man from Curse User Group K seethed with anger, his frustration evident in the way he fumbled for words. His eyebrows furrowed as he muttered, "Damn brat!"
