The beach scene was a picturesque paradise, with crystal blue waves gently washing over the pristine white sand. The soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore filled the warm summer air. The sun hung high in the sky, casting a radiant glow over the entire beach. Two girls sat on a small, colorful blanket, their toes buried in the countless grains of sand beneath them. Their gazes were fixed on the breathtaking scenery that stretched out before them.

Kuroi wore a somber expression as she spoke, her voice tinged with regret. "I can't believe I got captured by the Star Religious Group, and by a non-sorcerer at that," she said with a hint of self-disappointment, avoiding eye contact with Haru.

Haru offered a sympathetic smile, shaking her head gently. "You couldn't have known they'd catch you off-guard. Part of the blame lies with me, too," she replied, her tone soft and reassuring. She reached out to comfort the maid, though it seemed Kuroi was not easily consoled.

Kuroi lifted her eyes to meet Haru's, her gaze troubled as she contemplated the events that had led to her capture. "Was I really caught off-guard?" she mused, her voice laden with uncertainty. "I thought I was on high alert after the incident with K, and I still don't have much recollection of being attacked."

Haru continued to smile gently, listening as Kuroi expressed her doubts and concerns. "And all of you came here by plane," Kuroi added, her worry extending to her companions. "Were you okay? You weren't attacked?"

Haru couldn't help but chuckle at the memory of Riki's vigilant actions. Her heart warmed as she recalled those moments when she had the privilege of looking into his deep blue eyes. "Riki has good eyes," she replied with a fondness in her voice, a slight blush gracing her cheeks. "Before we took off, he checked over all the passengers and staff inside and outside of the plane." She chuckled again at the memory of Riki openly scrutinizing other passengers who cast curious glances his way. "And while we were in the air, I had my cursed spirit keep watch outside. So it was safer than using a land route."

The serene beauty of the beach provided a stark contrast to the chaos and danger they had recently faced. Despite their worries, the two friends found solace in each other's company and the peaceful surroundings, even if just for a moment.

"I'm curious, though," Haru mused aloud, her voice carrying a note of intrigue as she contemplated their situation.

Kuroi shifted her gaze to her friend, curious about the thoughts brewing in her mind. "Why would they designate Okinawa for the exchange?" she wondered, her brows furrowing slightly.

"Probably to buy time, right?" Kuroi suggested, her eyes drifting to a small piece of paper that Haru held in her hands. It was a simple sketch, a schedule of the entire mission that Sunoo and Riki had created, perhaps for fun or just to keep track of their plans.

Haru nodded, acknowledging the possibility. "If that were the goal, they would choose a rural area with poor transit infrastructure," she pointed out, her voice laced with a hint of concern.

Kuroi's eyes widened slightly at the thought, and her mind raced to consider the implications. "You don't think they're planning to take over the airport, do you?" she asked, her voice tense with worry.

Haru gazed back at Kuroi, her expression calm and composed despite the uncertainty of their situation. "Maybe so," she replied, her voice steady and confident. "But we'll be fine. We're not the only ones who came here."

Their conversation held an air of determination and trust, their unwavering confidence in their allies strengthening their resolve as they faced the challenges ahead.

The sound of Riki and Sunoo's laughter echoed across the pristine beach, filling the air with a carefree joy that was almost contagious. The two boys appeared utterly absorbed in their amusement, with Riki holding what looked like a sea cucumber in his hand, an odd and intriguing creature that had caught their attention. Their laughter rang out as they teased each other about its peculiar appearance.

As Riki playfully chased Sunoo with the sea cucumber, the vessel let out a series of ear-piercing screams, their youthful antics drawing amused smiles from the two girls who sat nearby. Haru and Kuroi watched the scene unfold, their gazes filled with a mix of fondness and exasperation. Despite any reservations they might have had, it was clear that this impromptu beach trip had succeeded in lifting everyone's spirits.

Kuroi couldn't help but voice her concerns, a hint of worry in her tone. "Should we really be sightseeing like this?" she asked Haru, her eyes flickering from the boys to her friend.

Haru, however, simply chuckled at the antics before her. "Riki's the one who suggested it," she replied with a warm smile. "He's probably showing consideration for Sunoo, in his own way. Though maybe it's time..."

Suddenly, the sorcerer stood up and began brushing the sand off her summer dress, the playful atmosphere taking a more serious turn. She called out to her partner, her voice carrying a sense of purpose. "Nishimura! It's time."
