Riki and Kuroi navigated the crowded hallways with a sense of urgency, weaving and darting past unsuspecting students who were simply going about their day.

Their hurried footsteps echoed through the labyrinthine corridors as they raced toward their respective destination - unbeknownst to Haru's brief but intense battle just moments ago.

Finally, after parting ways with Kuroi, Riki reached the chapel. He burst through the heavy doors with a panicked urgency that surged through his voice as he called out Sunoo's name in a desperate shout: "SUNOO!"

His arrival was a whirlwind, drawing the attention of everyone inside. A sea of surprised faces, a diverse group of boys and girls, turned toward the intruder, their expressions a mixture of confusion and curiosity.

Riki scanned the room in a frantic search for Sunoo, his eyes darting from face to face. Then, amid the sea of bewildered onlookers, he locked eyes with Sunoo, who met his gaze with a mixture of irritation and twitching impatience. Their connection, though fleeting, was electric and palpable.

Before they could exchange words, the teacher of the class stepped in between Riki and Sunoo, determined to restore order. Her authoritative voice cut through the tension in the room as she directed her disapproval at the intruding sorcerer.

"This is disrespectful!" she admonished, her stern gaze fixed on Riki. "I don't know who you are, and even if you are a relative, you still shouldn't barge in like that!"

Riki offered a nervous chuckle, his demeanor suddenly shifting to one of contrition as he scratched the back of his neck. "Oh, you'll have to forgive me," he stammered, his voice tinged with anxiety.

"It was an emergency."

With that, Riki dashed past the teacher and closed the gap between himself and Sunoo in a matter of seconds. Ignoring the shouts and the growing commotion behind him, he reached out and grabbed the pink-haired boy firmly, then made a hasty retreat, leaving a trail of bewildered and agitated students in their wake.

"You idiot! I told you not to show yourself before my friends!" Sunoo's voice rang out, a mixture of anger and frustration, as they sprinted away from the school. The wind tousled their hair as they made their escape.

Riki, on the other hand, maintained his composure and didn't betray any emotions. He responded in a monotone voice, his eyes scanning their surroundings for any potential threats. "Curse users attacked. Figure out the rest."

In a swift motion, Riki leaped into the air taking Sunoo with him, his powerful cursed technique propelling them both high onto a nearby rooftop. They continued their rapid getaway, and Sunoo tightly shut his eyes, unaccustomed to such heights.

"We're heading to Jujutsu High now," Riki informed, his voice steady despite the urgency of their situation. He turned his gaze to Sunoo, his expression hidden behind the shades he wore. "You don't want your friends to get caught up in this, do you?"

A somber wave washed over the vessel, rendering him momentarily silent. He struggled to find the right words to respond to Riki's question. With determination and incredible speed, Riki carried them across the rooftops, leaping effortlessly from one building to another.

Meanwhile, Kuroi, gripping a broomstick like a weapon, confronted an unknown man hiding his identity beneath a plastic bag over his head.

"Are you from Star Religious Group?" The maid startled him, and he turned to face her with a disoriented expression. Despite his bizarre appearance, Kuroi's senses remained sharp and alert.

"Are you a rookie?" the burly man asked, his voice muffled by the bag covering his face. "If you're killing someone, do it without talking."

This comment triggered something within Kuroi. In a lightning-fast movement, she sprang into action, evading the man's attempted punch with graceful ease. She positioned herself in front of him, targeting his vulnerable torso.

With a swift strike, she slammed the broomstick against him, but he reacted quickly, blocking her attack with his other hand. Undeterred, Kuroi maneuvered around him, launching another flurry of strikes. The broomstick spun gracefully in her hands as she executed a series of precise hits, her movements almost mesmerizing.

Bringing the broomstick down toward his legs, she caught the man off guard. He cried out in pain as the strike connected, rendering him momentarily incapacitated and dazed.

A low groan escaped the man's lips as he fell to his knees, clutching his injured body. Kuroi stepped back, her broomstick raised menacingly, ready to strike again if necessary.

"Don't you dare take anything from that girl," Kuroi warned, her voice dripping with menace. Her cold and unwavering gaze locked onto the curse user. "I'll kill you."

Suddenly, a hole in the ground opened up, and tentacle-like appendages shot out, materializing into four arms that pinned the man down. He let out an exaggerated yelp, trapped and immobilized.

"What's this?"

Kuroi turned around, her focus on the enigmatic figure who had just arrived. Haru stood there, her long brown hair swaying in the wind as she surveyed the scene with a bloodied face. Her right arm was extended toward the restrained man, while her other hand held her phone to her ear.

"Well, aren't you strong?" Haru remarked, flashing a smile at Kuroi as she joined her side. Her phone continued to ring on the other end as she inquired about Sunoo's whereabouts. "Where's Sunoo?" she asked Kuroi, still waiting for someone to answer the call.

"He left the school with Riki," Kuroi informed Haru, her eyes never leaving the defeated enemy.

"Then we should head that way too," Haru decided, her gaze still locked onto the masked curse user. "This has gotten a bit troublesome."

The curse user let out a hoarse chuckle, his eyes filled with mocking defiance. "So that really was the thirty million earlier." Without any further words or actions, his body began to melt in a grotesque manner, sending chills down Kuroi's spine. Haru, still on her phone, directed her curse to deal with the now-melting adversary.

"A shikigami?!" Kuroi exclaimed, her grip on the broom tightening as she tried to make sense of the situation.

"No, it's not quite the same as a shikigami," Haru explained, her voice carrying a hint of exhaustion from their recent encounters. Her relief was palpable as she heard someone pick up her call, and a faint but genuine smile crossed her bloodied face.

"Nishimura."
