ANNIE HAD explained everything and River was content with the ending. Snow was dead and now Paylor from District 8 was now in charge of Panem.

Annie said that Paylor would clear their names and they could come out of hiding once and for all.

After some discussing, they agreed. Cato was skeptical but knowing the government was in good hands now, it didn't seem like such a bad idea.

The entire rebellion was tragic with numerous casualties. Not only that, but Snow had beaten Peeta, Johanna, and Annie black and blue for information about the rebellion.

Peeta had gotten the worst of it. Annie said she had gotten so used to their screams that she felt her sanity slipping away even more. They agreed that she needed to see a therapist and that's what she did.

River and Annie were shocked with how well they were dealing with Finnicks death. River had always believed she was good at excepting things and moving on.

However, she knew she'd never get over Finnicks death but knowing he was in a better place made it easier. She was content in knowing he was proud of her and that was more than enough.

He brought her sunshine on her darkest days and his love would hang in the air like smoke to fire. The fire he ignited in both his girls that'd never burn out.
