Shubman had just returned after receiving the award. It had all went well. It was indeed a very special feeling and moment for him. His father was there to watch him receive it, Jugnu & Seb were also by his side. As asked, Jugnu did try recording it all along with being on facetime with Sara. He knew how important it all was for Shubman. He wanted Sara to witness it all, anyhow!

Jugnu could see it on Sara's face as to how proud she was of Shubman. Her face had that constant blush. She just kept looking at him receiving the award and talking breathtakingly on the stage. It wouldn't be wrong to say that at that very moment, she did feel like may be she should have just gone to him. He was her weakness, seeing him doing wonders, she just used to melt into a puddle. Her inner thoughts were engrossed in an argument with her outer being!! But she had already made that choice. She was going to stick by it.

Jugnu: "I know! I know! We all are proud. Don't get emotional abhi, we will come to Mumbai to celebrate."

Sara: "I am not getting emotional. Stop pulling my leg."

Jugnu: "Lol! Okay, as you say, Sara."

Shubman's evening was amazing! He had a photoshoot with the teammates followed by the award show, meet & greet with the fellow cricketers. He wrapped up everything, spent some time with his close ones, did call home, returned back to his room and dialed Sara. It was pretty late in the night, even though he had an early practice session, the next morning, he knew he wanted to speak to Sara.

Shub: "Hi! Had you slept ?"

Sara: "No babe! I was waiting forr your call."

Shub: "Accha! Thought so."

Sara: "So, how do you feel Mr. Cricketer of the year?"

Shub: "Surreal. You around me with a hug is all I need right now. Feels like everything else I got today."

Sara: "Awwww! I knowwww! I miss you toooo."

Shub: "I Love You!"

Sara: "I Love you, more! From where are these affirmations coming though ?"

Shub: "Felt like saying! Hadn't said it since a while, I guess. You shouldn't forget it."

Sara: "You never let me forget it."

Shub: "Good! It should be that way. You should know what you mean to me."

Sara: "Aren't you sleepy honey ? Practice hai na kal."

Shub: "Haan hai toh! So jaaunga. Suno na ???"

Sara: "Bolo baby!"

Shub: "2023 felt like a dream! Thankyou for selflessly being by my side for the entire year"

Sara: "Keep your thanks apne paas hi."

Shub: "Kyun ?"

Sara: "Kyunki mujhe nahin chahiye. I love being by your side."

Shub: "I am so glad about that. God knows how's 2024 going to be."

Sara: "It will be good only. I am sure! Full of learnings and experiences."

Shub: "Well, it hasn't started well. The 2024 for me."

Sara: "Then that means your 2024 hasn't started yet. I am sure you will be amazing in this test series."

Shub: "How are you always so optimistic, Sara ?"

Sara: "I know no other way babe! If I can't even help you conquer these baseless tiny self doubts, what's the point of my existence.?"
